(April 6, 1:00PM ET) -- She skyrocketed to the top of the charts with the hit, 'Pon De Replay.' Now, super-sexy pop singer Rihanna is doing it big with her new single, 'S.O.S.'

The Barbados bombshell sat down with the TV show 'EXTRA' to explain how it all started.

PUH-LEASE!!! Rihanna looks 10 times better than Beyonce' and is a young female performer on the rise. So don't hate on Rihanna 'cause she's attractive. If anything, the focus should be on Jay-Z since HE is her boss and is old as dirt and ugly. Plus, Beyonce is NOT this amazing person, she is SLOW...PLUS she needs to step up and bring something new to the table instead of having Jay-Z guest star on her albums just to get a hit song. Rihanna did something new and Beyonce' NEEDS to step it up. ENOUGH SAID!

I agree with u Lisa. Rihanna is just trying to do her thing and ppl are making it hard for her. And to a.ross, Rih isnt tryig to step to B. Beyonce is 25 yrs old as in damnn she old. It would be a pitty if Beyonce is really getting on rihanna who is less experienced in the game and who is far younger turning 18 only this yr. She is a grown a** woman and if she is threatened by a young bajan beauty thats her biz. Beyonce is one of Rihanna's influences along with Mariah i dont hear yall talkn bout that. Beyonce should known what she has and do the damn thing instead of using poor Rih as a stepping stone.

Rihanna is a great up and coming star she has a long road ahead of her and i think she will continue to successful if she stays humble, and focused. Don't worry about the rumors girl people are going to hate regardless of who you are famous or not famous everyone has something to say. Stay focused and continue your dream.
