The so-called marriage is a cover-up, ( if it ever takes place), for his bizarre behavior and her lack of moral strengrth and allowing him to manipulate her........ He's nuts and a control freak and she, like a teeny-bopper, is star struck by him.Well, anyway, this sham keeps the scandal sheets in business. How shallow we are.

Everytime Hollywood pairs celebrity names, the man's name is always first (TomKat, Brangelina, Bennifer), even if the woman is more rich and famous than her male counterpart! I wonder if this will happen to Oprah one day. Maybe she's far too powerful to be a victim of such sexism!

18. OMG!!!! Just when I thought it was safe to read TMZ again. Get off the Tom Cruise wagon. I liked him way back when in "The Last Unicorn" and "Risky Business"; loved "Top Gun"; but he's gone beyond belief in recent years. Find somebody realistic to write about and give us some peace.

20. I think Katie looks very beautiful in this photo. It has been a while since I have seen her look so pretty and happy. In others most recently she looks disgustingly thin and unhealthy. I would like to see her wise up I just see Tom Cruise as a very controling person. I think it is his way or else. I can imagine having an opinion that differs from his can be very tiring since in his mind his opinion is the only one that matters and the only one that is right. She seemed so much happier before when she was with Chris. I too was a huge Cruise fan but over the years the movies he choses to participate in have become so weird and the characters he choses to portray are equally as wierd. As a person he is just not as appealing as he once was it is a shame and such a waste. Katie holmes didn't need him to make her career I actually see it hurting her career in the long run.

21. It sounds nice when you sugar coat everything and say tomkat are just like us. But I am sure tom (i do not know about katie, for I never heard of her before she hooked up with tom) would get shivers up his spine if he thought he was just like everyone else. Yes, he is in reality, but he does not believe it. He (not really katie) get paid the big bucks for the publicity. without publicity (whether it is good or bad), he would not be paid at all. It is all the publicity that designates a movie stars worth. So do not think for a moment that poor tomkat are victims, for they both know that as long as they are being hunted for photos, talked about, and making the cover of media sources it means big $$$$$ for them. It is when all the talk and online threads suddenly disappear that sends each star into early retirement. So no, they are not like us in many ways. Tom and probably kate now too, are worth more $$$ today then they ever were. So if you like tomkat, keep talking about them because you are making them richer.

22. Tom Cruise is a fruit cake and needs to grow up! What makes Him think he's an expert on women? He's going through a mid life crisis, and he's afraid of getting old. I can't believe that Katie Holmes is stupid enough to be bullied by the likes of him. I feel sorry for their baby because he's going to brain wash her just like he has done to Katie. I say take your baby and RUN as fast and as far as you can away from him Katie. He's not going to marry her and if he does it won't last very long. 23. I truly do feel badly for Katie, she was beautiful on Dawsons Creek without all the pomp and circumstance. A little make-up and she looks like a Princess. You saw the movie First Daughter, she was gorgeous there and NO Tom Cruise. I had always liked him, tho he is a bit too short for my taste. He, lately has just gotten too weird and totally obnoxious. His Napoleon Complex has gotten out of hand. Theres helping someone in their career and theres being a bully and pushing a sweet innocent girl around. Notice how well Nicole did AFTER life with Tom........

24. What is really fasinating is how much common folks idealizatize and critisize these famous actors and actresses; When in Roman times they were considered one notch above prostitution. Interesting how values change over centuries and how much society influences people's perceptions. How insecure we people are; How fragile we are that it takes so little to influence our dress code, tatse, values, and behaviors.

I believe that most people like to speak negatively about these celebrities because it simply makes them feel superior to them; Not any different from everyday life where people do this at work, home, and about their family/friends. Most non-famous people also manipulate/control/plan their careers, that is, if they are career minded or driven; Most people criticize their partners too, even if it is under their breathe, yet it doesn't mean that they do not love them.

Celebrities are here to entertain! Why not be positive and enjoy the few that actually make it in an industry, where so few do. Movies, take us on a temporary journey out of our own lives; This is a luxurious treat that most people on the planet do not and will not ever have!!!

25. stop casting stones at others. I assure you that none of us is truly sane. we all have a little bit of craziness in us if we didn't we would surely go insane. Why can't we all just say that we are happy for others. There are more important things in this world then looking at the flaws in other people. How about just looking for the good in them. how about just looking for the flaws in ourselves and trying to make ourselves better people. if their lives bother you so much then stop paying so much attention to it.....

28. To Number 11, You got that right, You better believe Scientology is right here giving their input. Tom and Katie making their own decisions, etc. Get with it people he is in a "cult" completely controlled by those freaks. And he is giving a substantial amount of money to that cult. What a shame. they took over Tom's mind a long time ago, what a waste of a person, not to mention that money can given to charities, people who are starving, and homeless in our own country.

30. Our son had the opportunity to be a bodyguard for Tom Cruise when he was in town recently. He was very surprised that Mr. Cruise was a very nice man. He said Mr. Cruise was not a snot as expected, he was cordial, and very polite. He treated everyone with respect and dignity. That was a big surprise. So every thing that you read in the media just may not be true about the stars. They are people and just may be kind and generous people. You can't really judge them until you meet them or maybe shouldn't judge them at all. Walking in one's shoes it the true test.
