46. If Kate's parents are so fervently sanctimonious by insisting the wedding be conducted by a Catholic priest or they'll not attend or give their blessings, why haven't the turned their noses on little, illigitimate Suri?
It's one way or the other, can't have it both ways. Can't use religion only when it suits the moment, then turn your head when you're challenged to stand up for Jesus.
Scientology exists only to evade taxation. The crap they profess is nothing more than an avenue for men to emotionally (and perhaps physically) beat up their women. Type A women are shunned because they use the brains God gave them, or worse, they're driven into submission through constant, severe, emotional abuse.
It's clear that young Kate won't get tired of the bruises and other monkey-business until she sees Tom for the skunk he is, and that won't be one minute longer than the moment she realizes she, her baby and career don't need him or his misguided mindset.
Wonder what he'll vomit to Oprah, or anyone else who thinks he's still cool, once Kate's gone and allowed to grow up and mature in a healthy, productive enviornment?

47. Who cares? Live and let live!! Just because Tom Cruise made some movies, BFD. Its just a job that pays well.. People should channel their energy to help real people that need things. TOM CRUISE & KATIE are adults, let them make their own mistakes.

48. How shallow are we that we allow famous people dominate our lives?? We have so much more to be thinking about. Instead of adoring these people (which by the way,aren't always worthy, just famous or infamous, whichever fits best) we should be putting that effort to adoring our troops, who are giving their lives to assure that we can keep up this silliness. If Katie and Tom are getting married........great!! Frankly I think its a bit overdue. But I certainly could care less about all the faldurall that goes with. Work on your own lives and problems and leave them to do the same.

57. As far as I'm concerned I wish they would not marry in the Catholic Church, because as someone else said in their message it isn't going to last. Getting married in the Catholic Church means that their marriage is forever. The Church frowns on divorce and in case a couple does divorce they will be excommunicated if they remarry, To remarry is to create scandal in the Church and it is not to be taken for granted. That Scientology is a cult and its members are all being raked for their money. You can't even join it unless you are rich and famous. They do a credit check on anyone who wants to join.
As far as I know they don't do any charitible deeds or help anyone out or have hospitals or old age homes or orphanages. It iis totally out to get and keep money just like the Jehovah's Witnesses.

59. Coming from a marriage of a very controlling man, I see the same signs in Tom. Katie will be marrying the "Prince Charming" but it won't last forever and ever. As far as the wedding, isn't marriage 50/50.? I beleve it would be nice for them to do two ceremonies. If he really loves her he will allow a Catholic also. Georgi of Long Island.

60. All the money in the world can not replace the immunities that a mother gives to her child through her breast milk. Katie's shopping trip to Paris with her girlfriend means Suri has been denied that privilege. Beyond that, nothing in the world should have been able to convince a newly bonded mother to leave her new born baby for an over night to anywhere. Makes you wonder. And all this emphasis on Katie's figure being just right for the wedding gown fit? Tom and Katie missed out on one of the main functions of the wedding ceremony. It legitimises the offspring. They have brought a bastard into the world. The Catholic Church can't be happy about that. Well done. I'm sure Katie's dress will be a white one, adding faux paux to travesty.
