64. Most of the comments above have merit. These two people are just like you and me, excited to be in love and jumping on the furniture in the first blush of that excitement. Where will they be in twenty years? That is the question we should be asking and not what they did this past week end. Who cares? Let them live their lives and let us live ours. I really doubt they will be a couple in twenty years, Katie is awe struck and hasn't matured yet, Tom is one who must express his power over his woman and some day, Katie will get tired of it. She is worthy of bing her own person. Catholic wedding? Please, lets not make it any harder for Katie to leave this part of her life behind when she grows up. Just take the baby, she is too precious to leave behind!

Please pray for Katie, I am so shocked that she would get involved with such a psyco and with sciencetology. katie you could do much better and I know this is not love but infatuation that you never thought would go this far. He is a control freak and you should run for the hills. I really think he is Bipolar or Manic after some of his action in public. We really must continue to pray for her and her family. It really does not matter where a person gets married as long as they believe in God and the Holy Trinity. Apparently she has ended up with a mind control organization instead of God.

69. Frankly, I'm sick to death of the Tom and Katie saga. In my opinion, Cruise is another Hollywood megalomaniac, and has convinced a weak-willed, immature young woman, that the two of them were meant to be together. There is nothing further from the truth. Cruise seems to be quite insecure; it shows in his choice of a partner. Katie is young, pliable and pretty naive. Unfortunately, anything Holmes' parents say about the relationship that is less than places Cruise in a less than positive light will strengthen Cruise's position. One day Holmes will wake up and realize she has married an overbearing, narcissistic "star," and the relationship will come to an end. Too bad for the baby.

73. The saddest thing about the whole Katie/Tom affair is her being so brain washed to his expectations, not to mention his Scientology beliefs. If I were her parents I would be most concerned too, not to mention heartbroken that in such a short time this MAN as compared to her a young lady could have so much control on her. Understanding how love or the ideal of love could carry a person away and not make them think to please themselves, but to please that other person could lead a person to forgetting their needs and beliefs, such as her whole religion. So quickly she forgot it all???

But I also find it very selfish on his part and hers for not demanding that her families feelings be considered in a traditional ceremony. After all they brought her to him, and deserve even that much respect as Catholics. Shame on them both. Now that's just wrong.. and sick. I have lost all respect for Tom in this whole thing.. and care nothing about even seeing his movies going forward.
I wish no harm to come to them but only happiness if it can be built on such a contract. Mostly I feel sorry for the baby and it's future. All I can say is Good Luck proving everyone wrong. As far as privacy... come on. They are movie stars, they picked that roll. They love it...

75. How many people are sick of the whole TomKat B.S. anyway. I would have respected him alot more if he would have just come out of the closet. All of his marriages have been the ultimate sham . Hollywood is full of smoke and mirrors and he is just one of them.
