Britney Sued by Paparazzo

TMZ has obtained a lawsuit filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court by a paparazzo claiming that Britney Spears and her mother Lynne Spears are responsible for serious injuries he suffered when he was allegedly struck by an SUV carrying the pop princess.

The incident occurred in June 2004, when Spears, her sister Jamie Lynn and her mother Lynne were leaving a Santa Monica pet store. A number of paparazzi, including the plaintiff Cullen Reavley, crowded around the vehicle. The car, we're told, was owned by Lynne, she was also the one who was driving. Reavley fell to the ground, claiming Lynne ran over his foot. Police and paramedics were called and Reavley was taken to the hospital. Although police were called, they reportedly determined Lynne had done nothing wrong and she was not ticketed.

In the lawsuit, filed at the Beverly Hills Courthouse, Reavley claims he suffered injuries to the "head, neck, back, trunk and extremities, all of which have caused and continue to cause plaintiff great mental, physical and nervous pain and suffering." The suit goes on to claim that the "injuries will result in permanent disability."

In addition to Britney, Reavley is suing Lynne and Britney Touring, Inc. for unspecified damages, in excess of $25,000.

A call to Britney's rep was not immediately returned.

48. DumbAsk. Just another stupid ask pooparzzi trying to make a quick buck. He should be sued for being a Dumbask. Pooparazzi suck and should be controlled. They are so far out of control it isnt funny. It is insane what the pukes get away with. And to stand behind journalistic freedoms to do what they do is sickening.

How can running over his foot hurt his head, neck, back, trunk and extremities....a bunch of BS if you ask me, and if its her Mom's car and her Mom was driving why is he sueing Britney and Britney Touring. He is only wanting big bucks. If the Police did not ticket her she must not have done anything illegal. A judge should charge this dude for wasting court time!

And, personally, I think if his legs had been taken off at the knee, he would have been getting what he deserved. Paparazzi = STALKER!

53. They are not going to stop until one of them gets killed. Maybe this will be enough to get them to chill for a little while. Oh and by the way, how did his extremities, trunk, etc. get hurt of his foot got run over. I've actually had my foot run over and it didn't hurt. The tire just kinda morphs around your foot. Then again i'm not some pretty boy sissy who gets paid to break the law and stalk people.
