Britney Sued by Paparazzo

TMZ has obtained a lawsuit filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court by a paparazzo claiming that Britney Spears and her mother Lynne Spears are responsible for serious injuries he suffered when he was allegedly struck by an SUV carrying the pop princess.

The incident occurred in June 2004, when Spears, her sister Jamie Lynn and her mother Lynne were leaving a Santa Monica pet store. A number of paparazzi, including the plaintiff Cullen Reavley, crowded around the vehicle. The car, we're told, was owned by Lynne, she was also the one who was driving. Reavley fell to the ground, claiming Lynne ran over his foot. Police and paramedics were called and Reavley was taken to the hospital. Although police were called, they reportedly determined Lynne had done nothing wrong and she was not ticketed.

In the lawsuit, filed at the Beverly Hills Courthouse, Reavley claims he suffered injuries to the "head, neck, back, trunk and extremities, all of which have caused and continue to cause plaintiff great mental, physical and nervous pain and suffering." The suit goes on to claim that the "injuries will result in permanent disability."

In addition to Britney, Reavley is suing Lynne and Britney Touring, Inc. for unspecified damages, in excess of $25,000.

A call to Britney's rep was not immediately returned.

631. The picture of Brittany "dropping" her baby again, while the nanny saved the baby, looked like any ordinary picture of a baby moving or lurching in a way that baby's move.

How sad that the media twist and distort such a picture to make a young mother look incompetent!

Brittany, if you are listening know this: I am a social worker and PhD therapist and mother of two children (plus 3 stepkids)...I am so sorry that you are being victimized by the media, who would only love to make a young mother look incompetent.

It is a tough job being a mother! Having your every move scruntized by the press must be agonizing!

As a professional, I have not seen anything in the media that you have done wrong...just the media doing you wrong.

I am sorry that you work so hard to provide the world with an excellence in music and performance and you are scrutinized and terrorized by people trying to make a living off of you and FALSE stories.

Good luck, girl! Good luck with simply giving love to your children!
