136. I'm country but stupid SHE WAS ON PACIFIC COAST HIGHWAY (PCH).. we're talking a serious stretch of HIGHWAY not some back road somewhere.
IT WAS STUPID, SHE SHOULD JUST SAY THAT...

137. If you don't like being judged, stop doing stupid things. I know... we all make mistakes; Brit is just being blasted because she's in the public eye, right? Boo hoo. She made a career choice, knowing full well its implications. Believe me, she's been handsomly rewarded for all of it. There's no excuse for endangering the safety of your baby.
Also, if you don't want to be seen as a nut case, don't go on national TV and say that you're an emotional wreck. You're not helping your cause. It's obvious she enjoys the intention. Most of her career has been one publicity stunt after another.

139. Don't be a dolt, Stephanie Lee. Just because someone you know did it doesn't make it right. It's a stupid thing to do and it's teaching bad lessons. Example: Look at Britney (the baby on the lap driving incident). I intended to say: Look at Britney's breasts! They're freakin' huge! I mean, EVERYTHING on her is freakin' huge since K-Fed-Lite's birth, but that's just outrageous. lol

140. Their statement that their marriage is just fine has gotta be the biggest joke since K-Fed said he wanted to sincerely do an 'Eight Mile' movie of his life growing up before the cash cow came to pasture!!!!!

141. Country....Give me a break! There is NO reason for a person I don't care who you are to be driving with a toddler on your lap. Plain and simple! The fact that these people keep procreating scares me!

142. I thought she used to let her shirts make her comments loud and clear-it appears that their "just rolled out of bed" hair is saying enough about their parenting skills. They obviously depended on someone else to read the safety manuals on their baby gear (high chair, car seat, etc)-she probably didn't understand the directions. After all she's "country." And well, he's too lazy to read.

143. 2 things:
The media and the country needs to fix this serious problem of celebrity stalking. What does she eat? where does she party at? whatk ind of car does she drive? this is pathetic. We all need to get lives.
Second:
All this country girl crap should not be an excuse to justify stupidity and irresponsibility. Country or not, putting your child on your lap while driving is stupid.
Rish or not, always white trash

144. additionally- if you can't be responsible enough to raise a child correctly--------use a contraceptive. A condom. think before you do. One reason why our society is so screwed up is because we have irresponsible parents who don't even know how to take care of their children. I am not going to prophesize on Britney's child, but this is a general statement.
If you are a young mother, don't think you have the right to be a bad parent because you are young. this is your fault and your reponsbility

145. I am not a Britney fan at all. I think she used horrible judgment when she hooked up with K-Fed and then had kid(s) with him. But hey, I've dated some losers in my life, put up with some stuff that I shouldn't have and I even had a child at a very, very young age. My point is this: We all make mistakes, and (most of us) learn from them. But, unlike Britney, OUR mistakes aren't all over the front page of every magazine. So, just because you wouldn't or haven't made the exact same mistake that she has doesn't make her a horrible person. Give her a break.

146. tHIS IS HER FIRST BABY, SHE HAS TO LEARN, EVERYONE SHOULD BACK OFF

147. Brit could have had her bodyguard who was sitting next to her turn around and put the baby in the car seat. She also has no should not have been carrying the baby with a drink in her other hand while wearing heals. The convertible top worrys me more than the car seat facing forward, people could throw something out their window and hit him with it. Last, the stars need to hire their own photographers to chase the paparazzi and their families down, after all they are public figures aren't they.

148. Brit was raised to be an entertainer and the older she gets, the more entertaining she has becomes. I remember riding in the car on my dads lap on the back deserted roads of Southern California. Malibu is so congested, I can't belive she would use that excuse to justify driving with her son on her lap. She's a rich spoiled person that thinks she can buy a husband and a wonderful life. All the money in the world can't help you if your relationship is founded on shakey grounds. Kev looks like he was dragged out of bed for a photo opt. Brit has a right to live her life as she pleases, don't complain all that money comes with a price.

149. Geez, leave her alone! She's just being a mom and moms make mistakes. This may be the life she chose, but she has a right to privacy. As a new mom, I feel so bad for her. We make mistakes and if someone kept throwing my mistakes back at me, I can't imagine how I would feel. Let her be.

150. Ok, there is a HUGE difference between driving in your dad's lap in the country and in a busy city. It was irresponsible. And she is talking about sitting in da'd lap driving, so she was a hair older than an infant. Just because our parents lets us do something, doesn't mean it was right. My mom used to let me eat ther cake mix out of the bowl and raw cookie dough. Now that we know raw eggs carry samonella, do I let my kids do it, NO!
