To be honest I am a Beyonce fan, and I feel as though PETA has gone too far when it come to jumping on the celebrities for them wanting to wear furs or anything that has to deal with anytype of animal. To be honest people since the beginning of time have been killing animals in order to live. So why all of a sudden is it such a big issue. If they would just take the time to sit down and think about how dumb they really are then maybe they would be wasting everyone else's time with this bull crap. Its just ridiculous now. 2734. I saw the Pamela Anderson Peta video before I wrote this comment to better understand where both sides were coming from. I will admit that there are many disturbing acts of cruelty on the video.However, nothing nearly as disturbing as the scenes I saw in Spike Lee's "When the Levees Broke". These were real "human beings" suffering and being ignored! These were real"human beings" floating in flood water,being left to rot and decay in there homes! These were real"human beings" branded as "refugees" and shipped all over the nation never knowing
if they'd see there loved ones again!! NOW THAT SHIT IS CRUEL AND INHUMANE AND REPREHENSIBLE!!!!!! (and Beyonce wasn't responsible for any of it!) So Peta forgive me if I don't whip out my hankiie because some minks were killed.

I also think Beyonce handled herself with class and intelligence during this ambush. And her mother was alsolutely right to have that Peta chick removed from their table.Some of these animal rights zealots are nuts. You never know what people are thinking nowadays. 2740. Animals???? How about PEOPLE???? People are hungry, homeless and hopeless in New Orleans. That's something that is important. It seems some value animals more than humans. If people were as compassionate about human life as they are with animals, America wouldn't be going to hell in a hand basket. I have Native American heritage and am curious to know, does PETA target everyone or just celebrities? I'm not quite sure what fur has to do with listening to a song or seeing a movie. 2743. I think the PETA means well. They are trying to get people to see the useless torture of animals of all kinds and situations, not just fur. If we use animals for fur or food, then we need to understand that they too feel pain just like us and it is not right, no matter what anyone says, to kill them in such ways no matter what the reason. We, as humans, have no right to kill any sentient being in a painful way. The meeting with Beyonce was a little off, but noone should use fur anymore for clothing. We don't need it anymore to protect us. It's just for fashion and in my eyes, if you are torturing an animal for fashion, then it's you who needs to get a life, not anyone caring or fighting for animals. You don't need fur and you can eat meat without buying it from mass food production companies. If there is a will, there is a way. It's just the will that's the hard part. Noone cares about pain and torture of anything as long as it's not happening to them. Overall, if everyone would take their passion, whatever it is, and try to help in that, the world would be a better place. PETA is a little off the deep end sometimes, but at least they are trying, what are you doing about what you care about?

2745. look truth is the fact that she wears fur doesnt not make her a bad person...i kno people who are like "animals have faces dont kill them for food or fur" but they are like the meanest people you will ever meet...she has to right to where whatever the hell she wants without being tormented for it...if people have a problem with it that's on them and those of US who buy it...we arent concerned about it and it doesnt make us bad people or any less religous for whomever it was who tried to imply that in some way beyonce is less religous because her fashion line includes pieces with fur...it really doesnt matter at the end of the day ... and i hope beyonce doesnt back down b/c of those PETA radicals...
