PETA should be ashamed of themselves for attacking such a strong character. They were completely wrong for their attack on her this way. She did the right thing in just ignoring them.

77. I dont know about the rest of yall but theres this word that i know CHOICE. People have a choice in the things that they buy, eat ,and wear so use it. You dont want to wear fur, then dont ....but you can not force anyone else not to. You dont want to eat meat then dont eat meat it isnt rocket science people. But it is wrong to try and force your ideas on some one else. Force doesnt work out well history has taught us that. So do the thing that works for you. Dont like it dont spend your money on it. The dollar speaks louder than any group of people.

78. Actually, we need Beyonce to stand up and not listen to what others are telling her about using fur because of her influence. Im sure, in her heart she doens't want to use fur but her advisors are telling her that it will sell. I feel there will be a big change in her life and she will be a GREAT spokesperson for the animals ! ! Prayer doesn't hurt.

79. PETA should think twice before going after someone so nice and positive in this world. Beyonce isn't the one who goes out and kills the animals. She does a lot of great things in the community and should be respected for that....not ambushed by PETA only for her use of fur. Why doesn't PETA pick on someone who isn't good for the community in general -- maybe then their message would be heard better. When PETA attacks someone as kind-hearted as Beyonce, who is the cruel one?

81. The women from PETA were very nice to Beyonce, and I hope they did get through to her. I tried watching Pamela's video and I got so sick. I couldnt even finish it. Its terrible what they do to those poor creatures. I love Beyonce's music. I think she is a great artist. It would make her an even better person if she discontinued the use of fur in her clothing line. Its just not right. Regardless of other issues are going on in the world, it doesnt excuse the abuse of animals. Animal cruelty is wrong!

84. How silly to compare soldiers with cows. Any living, breathing creature on this earth has feelings and deserves respect. We respect the troops who go to war for our freedom and we should respect animals. They play as large a roll on this planet as humans do. Would you eat your pet? Would you skin your dog to wear a fur coat? Well these animals who are killed for food and skinned for fur (too often still alive during the process) are innocent loveable creatures not just things without feelings or worth. Everyone should watch the PETA documentaries. They change your life.

Animals are bred for many things: food, clothing, research. That is their purpose in life. They're lower in the food web. When they are killed, they are not slowly tortured. They're killed. Period. If these "innocent, defenseless little animals" were out in the wild their deaths would not be so merciful from a natural predator.

You can't justify killing animals for food but not for fur. If you've been following something half-important on the news, you would know that obesity in America is at epidemic proportions. How do people get that way? They're gluttons. They eat far past the point of satiation repeatedly. So if you EAT steak and chicken and pork like there's no tomorrow, that's ok, because cows and chicken and swine are not cute and furry? Your narrow minds make me sick.

Get your heads out of your asses and think for yourself instead of blindly believing everything PETA feeds you idiots.

87. i think that was harsh of them to trick her at something that was suppose to be a nice dinner turned into a confrontation. I mean, I know if they would of asked her to talk about it another time she probably would say no.....but i don't know....i guess it was both mean and good that PETA did that. But that was odd she didn't say anything to the people.....maybe it's true that she doesn't have a diva/bitch attitude at all but a more nicer/shy personality. But it's dumb that her mother was taking in charge of the situation---maybe she has the diva attitude.

As for animals, yeah they shouldn't be killed for fashion (unless u live in EXTREMELY cold conditions). But as for food, that's a more meaningful purpose. I mean, animals EAT other animals to suvive and humans just so happen to be at the top of the food chain and we need meat protein (also protein from nuts) to live and grown healthy. Of course, there are issues with the ways some companies kill animals for food but i'm not going to get into that. Plus, fake fur is just as cute as the real stuff anyways and just as expensive (well, of course it's not as expensive, but i've seen some for $300 or more). Humans have made lots of advancements in fabric making so it can feel almost like real fur so there is no real need to kill animals for fur. I think ppl just buy them just to show they have money or status.

88. How could anyone wear fur? Especially after watching that video? It makes me sad when I hear people try to defend their right to wear fur and eat animals. If they only knew how ignorant they sound. I am a vegan and I think PETA had every right to confront Beyonce. Fur is dead. People who wear fur look really cruel and gross. It is not sexy or classy, just the opposite. There is no excuse to wear fur with all of the alternatives today. I have no respect for Beyonce and anyone else who wears fur.

Also anyone who thinks a vegetarian is healthier than a carnivore better think again. Most vegetarians either look so weak they can hardly stand up or so fat they obviously are using too much ranch dressing to cover up the crappy taste salad.
