Paris Smokes Pot, TMZ Eyewitness Says
A TMZ staffer says he saw Paris Hilton sharing a joint with a friend.
The TMZ male staffer says he was at Pink Elephant nightclub in New York City at 1:30 a.m. Thursday, sitting two small tables away from Paris Hilton, when the heiress got up on a sofa and began dancing. Afterward, he says he saw her hold something white in her hands as she turned her back to the main room.
She then turned back and a female friend leaned down, took what appeared to be a fat, hand-rolled cigarette and lit it. The TMZ staffer then saw the friend take two hits and hand it over to Paris. Hilton then took a hit herself and handed it back to the friend.
He says a smell emanating from their table reeked of marijuana.
On June 3, TMZ cameraman Josh Levine got a shot of Hilton driving up to a Hollywood nightclub smoking something. When she noticed our camera, Hilton nervously began applying make-up. Her publicist, Elliot Mintz, told TMZ Hilton rolled her own cigarettes.
As for the incident at the Pink Elephant, Mintz told TMZ, "I was not there so there is no way I can comment. I have a call into Paris right now."
A rep from Pink Elephant said "no comment."
