Britney's Day in the Sun

While Britney's tear-filled interview with Matt Lauer may have been no day at the beach, her afternoon in Miami Thursday certainly was. More photos

Pregnant with her second child, the pop princess sported a bikini while frolicking in the ocean with hubby Kevin and son Sean Preston.

After putting to rest rumors that her marriage was in trouble on last night's "Dateline," the holiday seems to reinforce the fact that the Spears-Federlines are indeed a happy family. Even Sean Preston can't hide his contentment as mommy and daddy dote all over him.

We just hope everyone had their sunblock on.

91. I truly felt bad seeing britney cry on camera, she seems to really be hurting!!! One more than one occasion when I have seen her being stalked by papparrazzi, I have thought that it went way too far. I see the point about celebrities being public figures, but really do I care to watch Cameron Diaz buying eggs in a grocery store or britney and kevin walking on a beach? I do think that britney, being a new mom, will make mistakes, and I do believe that she should have someone to guide her in the early stages, but maybe of people stopped breathing down her neck, she would be more relaxed and open to constructive criticism. Now she feels that everyone is just dying for her to fail...anyway britney, keep on keeping on and don't be afraid to ask for guidance!!! Although motherhood is mainly instinctive, we are all human and not perfect!!! Good luck to you and your family!!!

92. Everyone that is slamming Britney spears needs to question themselves. If you work on something for most of your life as she has her music career, would you just give that up. It is what she knows and is good at. If she were to go and become a secretary or whatever you would also be slamming her for that too, saying she worked so hard and her family spent all that money to get her to where she is now and why would she just give that up. It is impossible for anyone to just keep a child indoors all the time. She has to show her little boy the outside world and that there are other people out there that live different lifestyles than they lead. If she didn't he would grow up blind to the world around him. It is her job and every new mom has things she is proud of and things she questions herself about. I am recently a new mom to a 6 month old and there are things that I hope I am doing right and some things I know I may not do right and I will find those things out as I look back. Everyone makes mistakes and everyone chooses the life they lead. But the papparazi guys would be much better off if all that time they spend outside of celebrities homes was at home with their own children. Brit, as one young mother from Louisiana to another (I know you know this) there will be more mistakes and there will also be more accomplishments, just enjoy every minute with your children and do what is right in your heart with them!!!! Congratulations on your 2nd!

93. Hey D, on #2. Whay should Brittney have to feel like a prisoner? I am a stay-at-home Mom and right now Brittney is too. Sometimes you just have to get out of the house! The point is that if she had a little room and could just do what she wanted without being swarmed all the time, then it would not even be am issue. LEAVE HER ALONE, ALREADY!!! Let her do what she wants and back off.

94. I agree that she chose the life she has and should expect some attention but does it always have to be negative attention. Who doesn't make mistakes. The biggest mistake I see is that she forgot to put on sunblock....as red as she is in those pics I shudder to think what she looked like when she got home. I think its a given that she is soaking in a tub of cold water.

96. It's bad enough that the lame brain is a mother and now twice over but do we all have to be subjected to the body transformation into whalehood- I mean mother hood. She brought all this attention to herself and if she don't like the negative, then live in a closet cause negitive is the best she'll ever get, No talented, hillbilly ogie from wisgogie. -Marissa

Marissa! You are a loser. It is okie from Wiskokie. Stupid rude broad. You know what, if the only bad stuff they can say about her parenting is that she tripped, needs to put more sunblock on her kid and should strap him in before she runs from the hoards of Papparazzi attacking her, then they are really fishing for any news about her at all to print. Marissa, I bet if they followed you around with cameras every day, then there would be a heck of a lot more controversy. Would they be able to make this great picture of you picking your nose? You have no idea what her life is like. Lay off. She is on vacation. If you don't like to look at her -then don't. I think she looks great. You are hateful!

97. It seems Brittney and Kevin Federline are the new version of Whittney and Bobby Brown. She'll probably stay with him forever and go down the tubes like Whittney has done(on Bobby's back)!

98. Brit is not the only bad parent out there. Brad Pitt is just as bad when he rode his bike with Zahara on the back of it without a helmet on. If he fell her head would have it the ground. Having worked for a pediatrician years ago, I saw first hand what can happen to a child on the back of a bike without a helmet on. They are helpless because they are strapped in.

99. Britt and KFed are the new Whittney Houston and Bobby Brown! She'll prob stay with him forever and go down the tubes into white trash heaven/hell with that louse by her side spending all her money and driving her slightly insane along the was.

100. Patty, from #41. I am educated, and Brittney may be lying about Kevin, but the piont is that it is not any of our business. She may need help in the makup department, but who cares. We should look on ALL human beings with compassion and concern.
We teach our children that every person should be treated with respect -no matter their education, sexual orientation, religious background or handicapped status. Why doesn't she deserve that as well. Certainly if the rights of a paedophile in prison is protected (and cruelty towards them is not permitted), then why is cruelty towards Brittney Spears permitted?
Who cares if she doesn't want to tell the whole world about her marriage! Who really cares if she needs some fashion sense. She is a human being and deserves to be treated with a certain amount of dignity and have her privacy protected. The real thing here that bothers me that she feels the need to go on TV and try to get people to leave her alone. She is pregnant, exhausted from raisning her small child, possibly having problems at home and she cannot just deal with these issues -no, she has to deffend herself to those cruel people who are making her life a living hell. You sound reasonable. The question is, would you want to have her life?

101. If Britney wouldn't be who she is, her parenting skills wouldn't even be questioned. Most people with her status have a nanny raising their children. AT LEAST BRITNEY SPEARS IS MAKING AN HONEST ATTEMPT AT BEING A PARENT INSTEAD OF POPPING A KID OUT JUST FOR THE SAKE OF HAVING A BABY!!! She's human. Kevin's human. They're a family just like the Smiths down the streat in Anytown, USA. If I had a dollar for every time I questioned even my own parenting skills, I'd be as rich as she is. The only thing I question in the pic of them in the water would have to be Brit's choice of swimwear and yeah, perhaps at least a ball cap on the baby.

102. Britney - no one is perfect and I do believe you are being a great mother , all you need to do is let what the negative crap people says about you and your family go in one ear and out the other.

103. Are you all kidding about this gilr or whatever you want to call her. If she wants to have people stop talking about her then she should clean up her act. Did anyone take a look at the way that mother to be was dressed. Totally like a tramp not like an expectant mom with a baby. I would have thought that she or her mom whould have looked at the tape before it was aired. Her hair was so overprocessed with roots, to much make up she looked like someone belted her in the eye and oh that gum chewing.. Everytime Matt Lauer asked her a question about her husband she would not look him in the eye when she gave an answer. She always looked down or away. If that girl wants to get back into the spotlight some day she better clean up her act and act like a mom to be and dress respectfully if she wants respect. Grow up. Boo hoo to bad for her.

104. I can't help but say...get a hat and shirt on that baby!!!!!!!! I genuinely felt for Britney yesterday in many respects, but her lack of parenting skills are not ok just because 'we're country'..... you don't just put your baby between yourself and a potentially fatally crushing steering wheel in a car cause 'your daddy did it', and you don't just put a baby in the bright sun and worse, in the water, with such little sun protection! YIKES.... I can only hope she at least slathered Water Babies all over the rest of him....

105. I think Britt will be just fine no matter what she does in her life. Look how much she has been through in her young life thus far. People seem to forget she is HUMAN! 99% of the people that throw stones at her are hiding in their glass houses!!!!! All of us have made mistakes but none of us deal with a camera on our every move. I say LET HER ALONE and RESPECT the fact that she is PREGNANT!! Do we want our bosses following us home every day and tracking our every step or do we get TIME OFF? HELL-OOOOO Celebs should have their time off too. I think when people stop buying those stupid magazines in the supermarket Papparazis will be OUT OF BUSINESS!!!! Keep your chin up Britt!!!!
