Claws Come Out On "The View"

31. I've watched the View for a long time, and have tolerated Star and now Elisabeth because of Meredith and Joy. I don't have a problem with Star and Eliz expressing their opinions but I do have a problem with their condescending attitude about everything. I saw the show that was referenced with the discussion on gay marriage, and I was gagging on Star's explanation for marriage - which I might find interesting if she herself was in a legit marriage. Eliz Repbulican commentary on the topic of the day is boring and tiresome. Why does everything have need a political reference or interpretation? The day she agreed with Ann Coulter's statements about the 9/11 widows was the last straw for me.

As for Sandra B and her comment about Laura Bush... I don't see why Star and Elizabeth jumped all over her when it wsa acceptable for Eliz to question the 9/11 widow's intentions.

WIth Meredith gone, I can barely stomach the show. Barbra is screechy and boring, Star is condescending and self-centered, Joy always is trying to make a joke, and Eliz naively preaches the Republican party line.

Will Rosie save it? Don't know, but I doubt Rosie and Star will last long, and then it's just a matter of time before Elizabeth walks.

32. I can't stant Elisabeth. She's a bitch. She continue to protray her polictical beliefs always on the show. She will never admitt to Bush is eing wrong about anything. Even some the republican's are upset with Bush right now.

Everyone make mistakes. I love Bill Clinton, but I know he's not a saint.

33. Elizabeth is an ahole in plain English. She should go with Star,,,to another planet. Laura Bush is old school when it comes to her marriage,,,,she would never stick it to GW and probably just does as she's told. She's not a librarian for nothing. As far as education in this country, most kids hate school and we keep pumping good money after bad. What has Bush done for education? Spent more taxpayers money for naught. Bush & Co & Elizabeth H. have got to go!

34. Sandra Bernhard is one of the stupidest women I've ever seen, regardless of republican or democrat, she's liberal and like most liberals takes pot shots at anyone who doesn't think like her. Then other stupid people have the nerve to laugh and agree when she's just name calling.....that's the liberal way. Ask for intelligent one on one discussion with the facts and they LOSE their everloving minds and babble like the idiots they are.....the view sucks anyway.

35. I am an indepent Democrat but the Republic party has messed up so bad that I hope that the United States can recover in the world. That tack head Elisabeth will not last when Rosie gets there. Every time she opens her mouth something stupid comes out. I thought Barbara was going to smack her last week when said something dumb. Maybe some intelligent 20 year old will replace her there has got to be one somewhere.

37. I love sandra!!! This was the best segment of the view I have ever seen!!
Its called "the view" after all, and they never should have cut that conversation short. It was too good. Remember that sandra is a comedian, she has those awesome one liners for shock value, and it really worked on Elizabeth! She really fell for it, and when sandra said her classic "look, honey...." I had to laugh out loud! Sandra has such a unique smart personality and knows what she is doing. They have to bring her back for more debates. Too, too good.

38. Elizabeth should be removed from the show. She doesn't fit in with the rest of the women and never has intelligent input. She's from a reality show....period.

40. Elisabeth should go back to eating bugs on Survivor! She has absolutely no talent and she needs to get a new stylist! First of all Laura Bush looks and behaves like a Stepford Wife, and she's married to the biggest idiot in America! 42. I can't stand Sandra Bernhard-mainly because she is loud and obnoxious in the way she presents her POV-and she always seems to talk over everyone while doing it!
I actually agree sometimes with what she is saying-but her message can get lost because she is so rude and obnoxious in how she says it. I do like Elisabeth-and I do think she has a right to express her POV--even though I am not in agreement with her when it comes to her steadfast Republican views nor her apparrant bias toward those who are different from her.

43. Sandra Bernhard, like many of Hollywood, think that because they are famous, they are experts on politics. They aren't. If The View wanted to be a balanced show, they should have hosts that have balanced views. Elizabeth is always fighting a losing battle when politics come up. She is always dismissed as if her opinion means less than the others. Having just come from a Republican function where President Bush was a guest, I am even more impressed with his dedication to our country. Instead of listening to has-been entertainers like Sandra Bernhard rant and rave, go out and actually see what you can do to make a difference.

45. I admire someone like Elizabeth for being a beautiful young woman with enough morale and intellingence to defend her beliefs instead of taking some celebrities viewpoint and choking it down. They do call it the View- so why is a conservative view so readily balked at? What good does it accomplish to sit on a show and say what Sandra said as if we are all suppose to think it is SO funny and then get angry when someone offers up a defense? How dare those of you who criticize Elizabeth for saying "wait a minute I will not stand for this kind of tongue in cheek comment, here is what I believe." Tell me what sense this makes and why Elizabeth is being labeled as ignorant etc. when she actually is standing up for her beliefs and thinking for herself reguardless of where that puts her in the public eye?!
