47. So what was it that Sandra Bernhardt said that was soooo terrible? That Laura Bush looks "heavily-medicated"?? Call the Secret Service, I think we have a serious National security issue. Please get over it. Way worse can be said about the entire Bush family and you know what? I won't even include the current administration.
And as for the View, I love the show. I really do. But Elizabeth needs to be REPLACED. As the only representative for young women, she is so far off-base with the majority viewpoints of this group.

48. Sandra Bernhard is a very smart girl. Whoever this Hasselbeck chick is, I'm sure she meant well in defending the first lady, but come on, she' married to HIM. I agree with Sandra, she must be medicated.

49. This used to be a great show to watch, but now it's turned into a "Jerry Springer" type of show. Having people like Sandra on the show and then adding Rosie O'Donnel to the mix? I'm done with that show. I think there's some good mexican soap operas on at the same time. I can't understand a word of spanish, but I'm sure that will beat the hell outta the View.

51. Elizabeth Hassleback is not very bright and I''m really not sure how she got on The View. I'm not a big Sandra Bernhard fan but at least she has some knowledge to back up her views. Hassleback is a right wing jingoistic airhead.

I don't mind listening to Republicans if they are intelligent and can support their views with facts, but I cringe watching Hassleback make a fool of herself on national TV.

52. Sandra may be rude and obnoxious but she was a "guest". Elizabeth is a pain in the butt and should have been gone from the show long ago. She drives nearly everyone I know up the wall with her ditzy whining. But, Star was even more rude to Sandra with her snooty eye-rolling. I am not looking forward to Rosie either. The View is on a big down -hill spiral as far as I can see.

54. Elizabeth is a "nice" girl but doesn't have the grit or the soul of a tv news personality. I think she should be a spokeswoman for Betty Crocker on the food network or knit booties on pbs. Please Barbara, take Star (Her new look is ghoolish) and Elizabeth off the show. Please bring Lisa Ling back. Now there is a incredible young lady!!!!

55. I am so sick of Elizabeth Hasselback & her politics! She is like a republican robot - not adding anything new - just spewing the same buzzwords back & forth. Plus, she acts like it's her way or no way. All I can say is that I feel very sorry for her family because she is one frigid bitch!

56. Elizabeth Hassleback has to defend the first lady...they are both high profile women that ascended to their by doing nothing...Elizabeth constantly says ignorant things. Her views are archaic and I'm very disturbed that ABC chose her to represent my age group.

58. Go Elisabeth...now that is someone with decency. I think it will be hilarious to see when Rosie gets on the View...cause the show will never recover. I used to really like Rosie but she is a disgusting pig anymore...the View is doomed with her on the show.

59. Elizabeth and Star BOTH need to go! I agree with previous comment, that Elizabeth is the reason I stopped watching the show. She is a horrible representation of women of my generation. And how about her resume? Why does she think that she is the expert on politics? Because she was on Survivor, or that she is married to a professional athlete? She is pathetic. I hope Rosie doesn't hold back when she gets on the show. Elizabeth is in desperate need of an ass-kicking!

60. Go Elisabeth!! Sandra Bernhard is very rude and very liberal. Yes, Elisabeth is a republican and I want to thank her for standing up for our First Lady. One republican out of five now four is a little out of balance for the show and a little too much to stomach. BTW- Star is the one and only reason I have stopped watching "The View" and now that Rosie will be joining... I will never watch again.
