61. Wow. I am so impressed that so many people out there actually agree with celebrities...it's truly comical. I think Elisabeth has guts to stand up for what she believes and still stands up even if its a different point of view. I can't stand all the crazy liberal celebrities...come check out the REAL world and learn about the issues, they complain. It's sickening to me. Not one celebrity would defend our country if they were asked to because they think they are so high and mighty. I think what we all should do is form our own opinion and stop trying to be celebrity puppets that we just aren't!!

63. All of the woman at "the view" are nuts. JOY is the load mouth who only likes Catholics and Italians, Elizabeth is the dumb one, Star is a ok but she still gets on my nerves at time, and even Meredith was annoying. These woman are NOT qualified to talk about NO ONE, let alone trying to tell a celebrity or anyone on how to behave.

64. I have to say that I watched the episode this morning and really thought that the poop was going to hit the proverbial fan!!!!!!! I personally dont care for Elizabeth however had Sandra referred to Barbara,Star or Joy as honey thier reactions would have been the same. How rude and arrogant for any adult to speak to another adult in such a patronizing way. Sandra needs to realize that being described as a "B" list personallity would be generous at this point in her career. Politics are a tough subject and I am not a fan of our "run in blind and hope for the best " president. I think he is rather irresponsible in the way he runs our country, however I respect the things that Laura Bush has done to attempt to make things better for our countries children, the effort she makes is more than most people can be bothered to do. Elizabeth should be applauded ( did I just say that ) for her backbone and the rest of the host's should be shamed for thier avoidance of the blatant disrespect shown by Sandra... she spoke as if she were doing a favor to people for being there. I find her overbearing and rude along with being a very intelligent person who seems to have forgotten just how to talk to people with kindness and a little tact. More importantly if the view continues to allow guests to wreck havoc w/ thier show they will be cancelled in the short term. I miss meridith already but have always loved Rosie and I am certain that she will bring this show to another level and restore the respectful tone of the show along with bringing some much needed fun to the show. IF the show doesnt get cancelled before she get there September 5th is a long way off you know.

65. That Elizabeth chick is a moron and everyone knows it. No matter what her views are, she sucks at coherently expressing them because she is an idiot. I have never watched this show - when all those hens start cackling around that table, I turn the channel with lightning speed. Rosie will be a great addition and I will start to watch so I can see her totally slay Elizabeth.

66. Just goes to show you. Opinion's are like a-holes, everybodys got one. The whole purpose of the view is to discuss differences of opinions however, Elizabeth got a little hot under the collar because of Sandra's comment. Why, I dont know because after all, they did ask her what she thought about Hilary - and they got her answer. They might not have liked it, but they got it. I fully support anyone who has the balls to say what they think and not sugar coat it. I dont really care for Sandra, but I think she is straight to the point and she dont beat around the bush with what she thinks. Some folks think that is rude, but if you dont wanna know, then dont ask the question.

67. Wow! These comments are amazing! As a strong republican woman, I think the Elizabeth has every right to defend the republican party on a democratic show. She is intelligent and has her head on very straight when it comes to politics and moral issues. Maybe when you very young people get educated on this topic you can throw stones but if you dont have facts then you shouldnt speak.

The View will self destruct when Rosie joins the show......She is as obnoxious as Sandra Bernhard and few will tune in to hear her rantings....It has barely survived since Liisa Ling left...if it wasn't for Meredith Viera, it would have bombed earlier. The wit and humor of Joy and Meredith have carried the show....and you can feel the tension between them all now. I want to be entertained ...not watch a slugfest of words.

Funny that Star would be against gay marriage. Her first husband turned out to be gay. That guy dumped her. Then Star goes out and marries another gay. What disease does Star have? Oh, perhaps she should ask Liza Minnelli who married 2 gays, too!

Meanwhile, once Rosie gets on teh show, Elisabeth will be minced meat because "mud will be flung tonite!"

71. See the thing is about elizabeth is that people dont love her and people dont hate her. People just do not care when she talks and when people don't care, then you know there is a problem.

We all are entitled to our opinion....and Sandra shared hers and so did Elizabeth.

I persoanlly don't think elizabeth is right for the show and not because she is a republican but again NOBODY cares for her. When she talks people tend to tune her out.

It is sad to see meredith go because she was the reason why most people watched it, but it will be very interesting come september 5th, when Rosie( the lesbian) goes against Elizabeth( the conservative)...some very interesting television coming soon..>Even though I don't think Rosie should have replaced Meredith, but thats another argument for another day

72. Oh Pahleeeeeeeeeeeeese!!! Laura Bush is a highly respected, educated woman of style, grace and class! Good for Elisabeth, or anyone who has the guts to stand up for the first lady against an unjustified, ignorant and classless remark. Sandra, on the other hand is a brash, loud-mouthed, obnoxious pitbull who just seeks to repeat the same ol' 'Hollywood' mantra. Don't bother them with facts as they stick to the same old slogans and blame everything on that 'vast right-wing conspiracy!" Sandra would never have made it without Madonna's help and when all was said and done even she couldn't stand her and dumped her like yesterday's news... Which is exactly what she is! Not to mention butt UGLY to boot!

Elizabeth could have used more restraint and not interrupted but I know I couldn't have quietly sat there.... just hearing Sandra's jarring voice much less her crude and thoughtless remarks would have creeped me out.
Sandra is just shock-no subsatnce. Is that her REAL face?
