The reason Meredith and Barbara are so successful is that they are smart enough to remove themselves in their responses - their egos don't get in the way. Elizabeth is anal and defensive and strikes me as mean-spirited. She has a right to defend her position, as does Sandra.

78. The show showcases differences of opinions. Sandra only knows how to attack people, not discuss or debate.
Elizabeth? In my mind she needs to be replaced with a twentysomething woman of substance.

79. How absolutely ridiculous is this Elizabeth 'gir' She is supposed to be hosting a talk show. You don't ask guests a question and then attack. She really needs to be replaced. I understand that she is republican and that's great, but you do not need to insult people the way that she does. She needs to get a life and find a new career. I'm sure she can find some brown nosing job at the White House.
80. The corporate MSM has been putting the kabosh on the story of Laura's marital problems with our titular President. It seems our Dear Decider has been having an extra-marital relationship with - get this - Condoleeza Rice!
Laura actually moved into the Mayflower Hotel taking a full-time Secret Service detachment with her and the sycophantic press went into hyper amnesia mode.
Of course Laura is sedated ... heavily. You've got to dumb yourself down and dope yourself up to tolerate life in one of the most destructive and ideologically illogical administrations in US history.
This is only part of the story of the secret depraved lives of the GWB family. Another story that the press avoids reporting is how adept our titular President was at pole smoking in the 1980's. That's right. He was giving head with the alacrity of a seasoned pro to the man he has appointed ambassador to Poland.
You could bet that if anything approximating this was leaked during the Clinton years it is all you would be hearing about on the news. Not that this is any of our business, but it just illustrates the complete hypocrisy of the media, the GOP and most particularly, this dreadful administration.

81. Do people really get it? I have seen so many hate comments about Elizabeth I think Elizabeth wants to be hated because then viewers will tune in again just to see who claws come out next. I can bet in the up coming weeks the ratings will go up.

Too bad the clip is short, would love to see Sandra rip that little tart in two! I stopped watching the show a week after that tart was hired, when she gets fired I will tune back in. 87. Elizabeth is a reflection of all that I hate about our world. What a bimbo! How did she ever get this job and why hasn't she been fired? I only wish Sandra would have bitch slapped her right there on National TV. I can't even watch the View anymore. I'm taking the summer off and waiting for Rosie. "Elizabitch" can go to hell.

88. Oh how I wished I could have watched the View today. I agree it does make the show more interesting with a diversity of views, but at least put some women on the show who don't act so entitled (Star) and are able stand on their own without making much mention of their man. I respect Elizabeth for having made it on Survivor, but then to go on and marry a professional athlete, PLEASE. That is not an accomplishment. She is no different than many other self serving Republican women and men who are so self absorbed they could not see their way out of the "all is good in the world as long as my needs are being met" and living in their pathetic little world of self absorption and disregard for those different from themselves. A shrinking and small minority in this country have any respect for Elizabeth's hero (George Bush) and an even smaller minority care about Elizabeth. No doubt far more folks tend to remember statements of Sandra's than the wimpy blabbering of Elizabeth.

89. I think all the true talent has already left the show. It's going to the dogs, and any guests who can mix it up in the meanwhile may add some much needed spice to this dry show until the last episode is born. And yes, Barbara Walters has a death wish and seems to enjoy seeing her show sink like quicksand. Way to go, she's been on the air way too many years as it stands.

90. It's very obvious that Mrs. Hasselback has no "grace under fire." It would have served her more if she had simply offered a prudent, fact base statement and let the rest be beneath her. Unfortunately, she demostrated that she is reactive, instead of proactive with words of distinction and maturity. I've choosen to find other meaningful outlets to wrap my mind around instead of these twanging female chat fest. Let's all get a lilfe!
