Tiger's Touching Tribute
Tiger Woods was in New York over the weekend, taking part in the 2006 U.S. Open Golf Tournament. Woods had a disappointing two-round total, missing the cut in a major championship for the first time in 40 appearances as a professional. Tiger fans got a unique glimpse into his very private life, however, when Nike aired a commercial that paid tribute to his dad on Father's Day. Tiger's father Earl Woods passed away on May 3 after a long battle with cancer. The ad was a montage of videos and photographs from Tiger's childhood and young golfing career. The last part of the video had the poignant words "To Dad and fathers everywhere."
