1037. i use to be a hairdresser and i worked through my pregnancy and i read up on the whole hairdye rumors and it is not harmful to simply dye your hair maybe if it was a perm or bleach but if you use good dye they arent that strong it would be no different than going home and cleaning your windows with a bottle of windex or spraying lysol disinfectant spray!! so give her a break i am sure every single woman cleans their house when prego and dont tell me different, and it is just as bad. what isnt harmful these days!!

1040. Hair dye DOES NOT hurt your baby, not the dye, not the fumes! It's no different than painting your nails. She lives in LA, don't you think the air alone has more "fumes" than hair dye? Do you have kids? Have you ever been pregnant?...Stop the catty mommy bashing! It's awful! What mother hasn't had a bad day? And again, to dye or not to dye is a personal choice, there is no medical evidence that it will harm your baby. Get a life or at least an education!

1041. For all of you Britney Spears experts out there...get your information right. There are vegetable based dye's that are safe for pregnant women and it's only a danger for women to color their hair in the first trimester of pregnancy.
I feel sorry for Britney Spears...she is still young and naive and had to grow up way too fast for her career and now she is paying for it. Back off of her and get a life.

1048. I read somewhere that she used vegetable dye for to make her hair darker, and that doctors say that type of dye is ok for pregnant women.

1050. I think that Britney looks better as a blonde but it's her decision whether she wants to dye her hair or not. And why does everybody think that she is copying off of people. People are saying that she wants to look like Angelina Jolie and that she is a Madonna wanna be. I think that people should just leave her alone and let her spend time with her cute baby boy. Atleast she doesn't put him in a day care and let him get diseases like some mothers. And who said that she didn't where a thing that doctor's where over their noses to protect her from the hair dye smell! And the only reason she almost dropped her baby is because the stupid camera people kept running after her to get pictures of her and the baby! And she is not the only person that almost fell with a baby in her hand....ok! Just leave the poor girl alone!!
