76. IF Katherine had bulimia, it didn't work. . Her clothing, I found, to be very unflattering in most cases. Too old for her. Guess her boyfriend isn't!
Her singing was average and many times off key. She will get by on her gorgeous face, but if she had a weight problem, she still does in the lower regions! But who cares! None of us is perfect, and how she is built matters not at all! I don't think she has the talent to go big time.

78. Since when is Cat all that and a bag of chips? She sings "ok"....she is way too thin and dating a man old enough to be her father....GROSS! And no, I am not jealous....not a thing to be jealous of. My question is why in the world is she getting so much media attention???? Is she the only thin girl in the world who can sorta sing? (Although personally I would much rather see some of the other ladies from this season's Idol.....Paris and Mandesa....those ladies can SING!! And frankly, Lisa Tucker is much prettier than Cat will ever be.)

79. I tell you. You woman are so caddy. I can not believ the things you will say just to make yourself feel better. If you are bashing some woman, you should be ashamed of your selves. You were brought up better than that. Find a way to feel better about your looks and personality and stop bashing Katherine. She is beautiful on the inside as much as she is on the out side. She lost to someone who can not sing, is a bumbling idiot and only won cause he is and entertainiung bafoon. This was one of the worst American Idol results, next to Ruben Studdard winning. What about talent? He might be a nice guy, but like Taylor, can not compete with the runner ups in talent.

People who bash or praise someone have to learn to inform themselves about the object of their critic....and if you do so you will learn to accept that someone just the way they are, after all we have our faults too and I am sure that some of these critics faults' are much bigger than Kat Mcphee's ........Leave her alone......Haven't you learned that if you don't have something nice to say about someone just don't say anything ????

81. You guys kill me. She is young and beautiful and had some really hot dresses on. Anytime some wears a designers dress and it is a hit the designer starts getting major orders.

That girls by word from each contestant said was one of the nicest, sweetest people to be around. She was rooting for all of them as they rooted for each other. When your in a house with someone as long as those kids were you get to know them fast. Kat was always nice and no she isn't all that skinny that girl has boobs and butt so she tried to keep her weight down. Do you realize how many actress do that. Give over your mean spirited selfs and shut up about the poor girl. She is a winner without the AI title. She has a contract, she isn't held up to the contract Taylor is and she is wanted by Steven Spielberg for a movie. That should speak for itself. Not only that a few of the celebrity also want her and Taylor plus Mantissa.

Its over we know who won so let it go. She is going to do great in Hollywood. The camera loves her and for the record ...in interviews Kelly Clarkson stated it. AI makes you play to the camera.

whole package!! I think she is absoutely gorgeous and when I
return in my next life I want to Look Exactly Like Katharine Mcphee!! I also want to sing just like her!!! We were not ready
for another Katharing sound so we didn't vote her to win but we
were ready for a Taylor Hicks Sound. GOOD JOB TAYLOR!!

I can't understand all these people bashing Kat, since she is truly a very lovely person, with an absolutely extraordinary voice, and I think she should have won the contest--many people believed that she had the best voice of anyone in the contest!! She is wonderful, and she will be able to go many places in the music world and do anything she wants--even movies or Broadway!! Time will tell just how far she will be able to go, and what she will be able to do. The bolemia is her personal business, and I believe she will be able to conquer that also. People who bash other successful people are only jealous!!

84. I think the people who are defending KathArine are just relatives, her voice is
not 'amazing' , she continually found something to blame her poor performances on from week to week (now it's the Bulimia taking a toll on her
voice yeah right) and although she's pretty, pretty is a dime a dozen. Tyler may
not have had a sensational voice, but because he had some personality it
gave him the edge.
She doesn't have the personality to sustain a career will not be around as long as some of ya'll think.

85. I didn't particularly like Kat but....... She had the heart to stand in front of the world and sing her little butt off. I couldn't do it and even though I didn't vote for her, you have to give her credit for having courage, no matter what, to do what we all wish we could do. Now lay off of her. We as a whole need to be nicer we are the USA and we are looked on and admired as a nation. BE NICE the world is watching.

86. I too cannot believe how many people enjoy bashing Katharine and I just cannot understand why? I will admit I have always been a Katherine fan throughout American Idol. I also found several other contestants to be very talented and never bashed any of them just because I was a Katherine fan and maybe they had a better week than her. They all had performances where some were better than others... and it was not just Katherine.... For people to judge her, her life or personality without personally knowing her I just cannot understand. Maybe they should remember the bible verse, " Do unto others as you would have them do unto you"....... Katherine is beautiful and seems to be very nice and is very talented. Our prayers will be with you as you continue to fight your battle and here is to a great career!
