Hasselhoff -- I Know Who Broke My Wife's Nose!

David HasselhoffDavid Hasselhoff responded Thursday morning to his wife's charges of abuse while on CNN's "American Morning." Hasselhoff told Soledad O'Brien, "The only person who broke my wife's nose was a plastic surgeon, darling."

Hasselhoff appeared upset when O'Brien brought up the allegations while he was on the show to promote the new movie, "Click," starring Adam Sandler.

"That's not what I'm here to talk about," Hasselhoff said.

The two also had a contentious exchange when O'Brien brought up his kids:

O'BRIEN: And you've got little kids.

HASSELHOFF: Right. And you conned me into this, because you said you weren't going to talk about this.

O'BRIEN: No. Oh gosh, I never agree on conditions before I do any interview.

Earlier this year, Pamela Hasselhoff filed a declaration claiming that in December 2005, David "grabbed me and pushed me hard into a car," adding "in the past, he has also broken my nose and called me a 'whore,'  'c**t,' 'bitch,' 'slut' and 'drug addict' in front of our children."

In a heavily redacted declaration filed on June 20 in Los Angeles Superior Court, David Hasselhoff responded, "I categorically deny each and every ... allegation."

16. If you want to know the truth, I believe the wife. Women who are in abusive relationships seldom lie about the abuse, when they finally find the courage to talk about it, and there's something about him...his face, his eyes...a certain something that anyone who has ever had an abusive partner would recognize

17. I believe the wife. Guys like this who feel entitled to calling names, shoving and hitting and such to bully their partner make me sick. His wife obviously was trying for some time to make it work - and covered up him breaking his nose for a time. She probably thought that if she tried to be as perfect as possible, his angry outbursts would stop. WRONG A guy with a bad attitude won't ever get better, only worse, as he tromps on more and more boundaries. Thanks TMZ for showing is awful attitude and disregard for his children by demeaning their mother. I hope Hasselhoff gets supervised visitation with his kids and does domestic violence classes.

18. I could tell Pam was a manipulative lowlife liar from the start of this. Women usually stretch the truth or lie after a breakup to make the husband look bad and often get sympathy for some reason. You've got to look at what the person was like towards other people to make a good assessment. Was David H. cruel, abusive, callous outside of this relationship? Did he ever have a reputation as a bad guy, somebody who would do these things to a loved one? Pam is so totally full of it.

19. If she were truly abused, she would have mentioned more than a broken nose. Women who are abused are verbally abused constantly, are not allowed to visit friends or family, are cut off from everyone and everything. Usually drugs or alcohol play a part. Sounds like a pissed off wife to me.

20. Does anyone think David sings Hooked on a Feeling while he beats his wife?

21. hving worked in matrimonial/family law for over 40 years you learn that neither party ever tells the complete truth. although you tell them to give you 100% full details up front they don't. who knows who is wrong or right in any marital situation. only the two people involved. remember the song "behind closed doors". that is the only truth. and 9 times out of 10 after paying all the expensive lawyer fees, court costs, etc. the case is settled and everyone goes home. do not judge unless you know all the facts!!!

22. Do any of us out here know the real story? No...and we won't unless we were actually there. This is David Hasselhoff's personal life, and unless you were a recording fly on the wall, or the kids in the next room, (let's hope that's not the case here), you don't know what happened. I believe you people just followed along the ethics line that the Star or the National Enquirer follows, sensationalism(sp). That's what you got here. Great trick and shame on us for going along with it. We do look at headlines and base our first reading of a "paper" on what we see there and the press and TV people know that. So sorry David, I do apologize for falling for the trick. And shame on you people who write this site. You know you get a lot more people staying loyal to your site if you didn't stoop so low as to show us a picture of an apple, and then tell the story of an orange.

23. I cannot believe that there is a woman above saying that garbage about - it takes TWO to tango. It only takes ONE to get beat up by your husband/boyfriend/partner. And, you could be Miss America or Mother Therasa or June Cleaver for all that matters - if he is a woman beater you can be seeming PERFECT on your part - relationshipwise and still you will get pounded on/abused. There is NOTHING you can do to stop it except to leave him. AND, for the record, oftentimes leaving him isn't enough because then he follows you to beat you us somemore. MOST women in this country are murdered by some man they once called husband or boyfriend. So, please take that lousy load of crap: "It takes two to tango" and lose it.

24. Consider the source. I mean come on!
Solidad O'brien is not exactly at the pinnacle of journalism. She came from the "TechTV" channel for crying out loud !!!

25. he should have just called her a 'whore,' 'c***,' 'b****,' 'slut' and 'drug addict' and pushed her head into a car

27. "No. Oh gosh, I never agree on conditions before I do any interview." - Who is this bitch kidding?

28. Give me a break, it's obvious he's pissed off but he's a supposed to maintain a friendly demeanor or it just makes him look worse. Look at his body language, his arms are crossed and he says more than once he's not there to talk about it, and does bring up that he's unhappy about being "conned" into discussing it. I don't think this was sensationalized at all, I think one of you says something and the rest follow like sheep.

29. This is the first article I've ever read on this site, and it'll be the last. Crap sensationalism at it's best. If I want bulls!@#, I'll check out Fox News!

30. CNN is infotainment and Soledad O'Brien is not a journalist. She's a television co-host that reads news. She claimed that she did not agree to not discuss his divorce during the interview, but that's a lie. First of all, it's the producers who schedule the interviews and they're the ones that make the agreements with the guests. Secondly, do you actually think that Hasslehoff wants to be embarrassed on TV by discussing domestic violence? Yes, I know he's probably a hawk for any press, but come on. The entire CNN morning staff should be shot in the head with that nasty military rifle that can blast threw inches of steel from 4 miles away. Have you seen this? Have you heard abou this?
