Paparazzi are part of the Hollywood game. If you have a new project to plug they can be your best friend, but try and hide a new relationship or a baby bump and they can become your worst enemy.


With millions of bucks on the line, photographers will stop at next to nothing to get the money shot. From climbing trees to swarming celebs, TMZ has video evidence of what happens when the paparazzi goes wild.

A flashbulb frenzy erupted when the typically private Nicole Kidman greeted paparazzi outside her home in Australia. Down under for her birthday and nuptials to Keith Urban, Kidman sent water and beer over to the photographers. The paparazzi returned the gesture by singing Happy Birthday to the Oscar winner.

As the patron saint of paparazzi, Paris Hilton knows how to work it for the camera. Paris, never one to turn down free publicity, was in full promo mode when TMZ shot Paris pulling away from an LA club dancing and singing to her new song "Stars are Blind." Hopefully the cops were too since the heiress wasn't wearing her seat belt - again.

31. They are held to higher standard because of the money we pay them to entertain us. Old Danny Glover was recently here in London and got caught with a "lady" and jump into a fight with pararazzo when they tried to take his picture with the "lady". He is too old to be out at night fighting the camera, although he jumps in front of it when he can get free publicity to help his fading acting career. He was seen on the street in the west end here in London and went bonkers at the camera, then fled to his hotel with the "lady" trailing behind him. The article was in several of our papers throughout Great Britain. He is very mean and nasty; hope he uses wraps when he messes with our English ladies.

32. Give me $10,000,000 for four months of playing make believe and you can arrass me everyday. If we stop looking two things happen. The Paparazzi have to go find real jobs and rest of us could start going back to movies with out paying $10 dollars to enjoy the air conditioning. We do you expect you have one group that is out of touch with reality and one group that makes a living spying on them.

34. When you choose to be a celebrity... you starve for the limelight. When you reach that pinnacle of success it becomes part of the job. However, it may become difficult or even imposing at times. When your boss ask you to work after 5 what do you do? You either smile and work a bit longer or quit. I am reaching for that pinnacle with a new country single, "Looking For You Lady" coming out on radio in a month or so. Maybe my opinion would change if the "cam dogs" were chasing me... 36. If I had half the money they do you could follow me around all damn day and I would not care.You act you sing so you know the consequences deal with it. I wish I had the problems they did, but no mine are far worse than people snapping pictures of me. Tell them to get rid of their money and live as a poor person for a day and see which one they choose then. Get over it!!!!

38. Personally I dont know why people do these things. These actors and singers and stuff are just like us. Their human beings just like us. Just because they can dance well, sing well (most of the time, excluding some people), act well or whatever does not make them more special. Just means they have talent. And just because they make a whole ton money doing it doesnt mean we should have dumbass people going after them like f**king stalkers taking pictures. Its so f**king ridiculous. DAMN PEOPLE NEED TO GET A F**KING L-I-F-E AND A J-O-B ... NOT TO BE STALKING PEOPLE!

40. Who cares man. . U are makin' millions of dollars and U don't think U should have 2 put up with anything at all which is bullsh#!. I mean all they are doing is takin' your picture. If they can't handle the heat in the kitchen then they should quit and start working a real job.

41. Enough with the Brangelina--he is a fool for leaving Jennifer Aniston. Angelina is nothing but a low class woman who took a man away from his wife--he will probably do it to her. It's about time she took care of the 3 children she has. What is she trying to prove by adopting another child right now. I hope Brad Pitt finds someone else sexy--she has no time for sex now--she's too busy trying to look good adopting children from other countries. There are children here who need a good home with lots of money too.

44. Obviously TMZ actively supports paparazzi by buying their work and showing it here, and by showing paparazzi's "side" of the story while having his face not shown. Yet the favor is obviously not returned: paparazzi would ALWAYS show the faces of people who do not want their photos taken. There should be laws to protect privacy. A number of stars have stopped performing due to harassment. Sad that Americans pursue badly taken photos as a sign of affection for a star, jeapordizing those stars'--and their family's--health, life, and future performances. There will be more deaths...Lady Di will NOT be the only one to die. Why does the American public and government allow children to be abused by having paparazzi in their faces?

I think they are just loving the publicity or just whacked out on all the stupid decisions they keep making....
