Ashlee to Playboy: No Thanks!

241. A friend of mine works at Playboy and they did indeed offer her 4 million. Other celebs have been offered different amounts but the least they'll offer a celeb is $1 million sonce they get the big bucks......
Ashlee is HOT right now. She's on the top of her game and for Playboy to score her would put their sales through the roof!
Men everywhere would drop the $5 to get an issue (even Christians since Ashlee is a Christian).
Ashlee's hot.....there's no getting around it. People have their "opinions" but they know the truth. Jealuosy is an ugly thing.
Ashlee did Blender a few months ago. She looked AMAZING! She's got the body of a goddess.
Jessica has done Maxim two (maybe 3) times and each time she's looked great. Now I think she should do Playboy. Why not? The way she dresses she leaves nothing to the imagination so......

245. You kids talk a lot for people who claim to know a person by the photographs they take. Lets clear matters up shall we? Say she accepted. What then. Playboy enjoys a surge in magazine sales because lets admit it, any guy (Heterosexual guy) would love nothing more then to see Ashlee in the buff. Come next year Playboy has to match of beat their previous years earnings to stay profitable, at least for that particular month. What options does Playboy turn to? They either search for another attractive and emerging artist of some sort, or simply sign another 'playmate'. In the end Playboy being the 'company', If it is even correct to use the term, that it is pulls out its profits out from an alternate source...namely DVD sales and PlayboyTV. No sweat right for them right? Now consider Ashlee’s position. She accepts, takes her 4 Million and walks away facing a much harder journey to the top of the charts then when she started out. The only benefit she receives is money. And to be level with you (reader) 4 Million is not as big of a sum as you would think. Average-to-low income families, is in this case teenagers, see 1 Million as the solution to their every problem. In the end a trade off of nudity for money is laughable and unreasonable. One small side note, the rash and jealous," Ashlee is ugly" comments, and I will write and size check to prove it, come from bitter, bored and humorously obese teens and tweens who have become irritated seeing someone attractive take guys attention. Lets face it, in the end these comments will never be seen by ,I doubt, more then a few hundred,....so why waste time making a fool of your self by talking about a person and matter that only a very few FULLY understand.

248. Good for her!! I really do not care why she turned it down, her own choice or in respect for her parents (although I think her Dad would be somewhat inconsistient to disapprove given his management of both daugthers, the trashy clothes and choices he helps them make)
the money, no matter what the amount offered, is not the important thing. It is imporant that she said no to further exploiting her body for profit.

249. Ashlee Simpson will pose for Playboy. Maybe not right now, thats because she is popular. She doesn't need to expose her breasts to become popular and rich.


Give it time, she can only last so long as a popstar, and she certainly won't make it in television or on the big screen. Face it guys, the only two popstars that really defeated that fate was Britney Spears and Madonna.....and even they have recently faded away so to speak.

251. I love Ashlee and I am really proud of her 4 turning them down. I didn't expect her to say yes but I meen, lots of celebs would. By the way, she only had one thing done and it was her nose, which was cute B4 too. And she only made 1 little mistake then the world turns on her. Nice. So just get over SNL and then I wouldn't even have to post this cuz every one would be like-she made the right choice.
