George Clooney Hooks Up With Elvis' Ex

Exclusive: Linda Thompson and George Clooney
Love was in the air in Lake Como, Italy, last week, when George Clooney was spotted romancing lyricist Linda Thompson, the longtime live-in love of Elvis Presley.

Sources tell TMZ the couple was spotted dining late into the evening with friends at the swanky Villa D'Este resort. The next day, 'Captain' George took Thompson, the ex of Olympian Bruce Jenner and songwriter David Foster, on a sunset boat ride around Lake Como. We're told Thompson stayed the night at Clooney's villa and left the next morning.

Clooney has been a busy man of late. Last week, he was sharing a motorcycle seat with on-and-off girlfriend Krista Allen.

301. George Clooney is one of the nicest men in Hollywood. He is kind, considerate, most men should be like him. He treats everyone, famous or not with kindness. He doesn't pull any punches about not wanting to be married or having children, most men should be more honest up front like that rather than leading women on. Come on people, ya gotta like a guy like that. Honest, good looking, money, kind, what more could you want???

303. I LOVE GEORGE CLOONEY!!! HE IS GOOD-LOOKING AND DOING WHAT HE WANTS TO DO. IT IS SOCIETY THAT BELIEVES IF A PERSON IS NOT HOOKED TO A SIGNIFICANT OTHER THEY ARE A WHORE!! I THINK GEORGE IS A GOOD EXAMPLE OF AMERICAN FREEDOM AND HAS THE RIGHT TO LIVE HIS LIFE ANY WAY HE CHOOSES. WAY TO GO GEORGE!!! WHOEVER HAS A PROBLEM WITH HIM IS EITHER JELOUS OR JUST PLAIN NEEDS TO MIND THERE OWN BUSINESS!! ARE YOU ALL SO BORED WITH YOUR OWN LIVES, THAT YOU HAVE TO WORRY THIS MUCH ABOUT WHAT OR WHO GEORGE IS DOING?? KINDA SAD!!

304. I liked Clooney at one time, but it gets so boring and rediculous for celebraties like him to talk about all the poor and disadvantaged in the world --if they are truely that concerned, why don't they lead less oppulent lives and give most if not all of their money to those causes they are concerned about. I don't doubt that they are moved by these sad situations they see, but they seem to stop short of emptying their bankaccounts ---so what does that tell you?

305. Why does it matter? George Clooney is a single man, that has lived his life with women falling all over him, even at his age. Calling him gay just shows how insecure other people are about themselves, otherwise they wouldn't say that because it wouldn't matter either way. As for Linda Thompson, she looks like a monster just like Priscilla does. Elvis had bad taste in the first place, look at Dixie Locke and Juliet Prowse...talk about nasty. He could do better, he has done better, and he will do better. For her age, she is in great shape, but the face is liable to scare people off. George Clooney, I never thought he was good looking, but saying he's gay, ugly, and an old fart just shows how some people feel about themselves.

306. I love you, George Timothy Clooney, and it hurts me deeply everytime another woman or girl has caught your eye, captured your heart and turned up your body heat.
I suppose I should stop this waiting and waiting and waiting.
Anyway, look after yourself in the meantime and stay away from alcohol, drugs and other self-destructive substances please.
Finally, do not be afraid to get married again and never let public opinion interfere in this matter. If Krista Allen is the one, then let her be the one to gain your hand in marriage. After all, she has been with you for the longest time and lets you live your life the way you want to - side-stepping, nightclubbing, stripper-chasing, and what have you! Do you ever really care what the other half feels? Why must an intimate relationship with you be a constant endurance test???
