Celebrity Feuds
Pam Strips, Bashes Beyoncé

Pamela Anderson: Click to WatchPamela Anderson stripped down to her panties in the window of Stella McCartney's London boutique Wednesday, in a protest over fur.

When asked if there's a need to name and shame celebs who wear fur, the "Baywatch" babe took no prisoners.  "I don't think that's glamorous at all ... especially the ones that are starting to put them [fur] in their clothing lines like J. Lo and Beyoncé ... it's really important for them to be conscious of what they wear, especially as they're fashion icons."

Beyoncé Knowles was recently confronted by  People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) at a swanky restaurant in New York.  TMZ was first to run the undercover video.

76. Did anyone even take the time to read the "I'd rather bare skin than wear skin" sign on the window? I'm totally on Pam's side with this. She's just supporting something she believes in and I'm glad she's actually using her fame to make a good influence on the public about something, and I understand there are other issues she could be supporting like abused children and things like that but at least she's supporting something. Do any of you try to make a big influence on things like abused children or homeless people? Do you donate a ton of money to different charities that you believe in? Do you even make an effort to fix anything like this at all or do you just sit around and talk about how "there are bigger issues" or "I don't support something so that makes me a better person"? Most likely no. So maybe you should think about that before critsizing someone's effort to make an influence on something they believe in.

77. This has nothing to do with animal rights and everything to do with a lack of talent. Pam Anderson captured the public consciousness with her breasts, not any other quality, and any time she feels the waves of inevitable public amnesia lapping at her, she takes the puppies out for a stroll.

Think about it. Every notable event in her "career" has revolved around her body (not of work). I reckon she hasn't many more years before she droops into complete Charro-esque caricature and, hopefully, slides off the radar.

Sadly, Paris is her heir.

79. I couldn't have more respect for Pamela Anderson. And I couldn't have less for Beyonce and Jennifer Lopez. Do they just refuse to see what happens to these animals? Or do they really not care, period?

80. Those people who hurt animals for profit? Give me a gun and the law and I'd shoot them dead. With a big smile on my face.

83. Pam Anderson and her nasty ass should write a book about living with Hep-C before she attacks JLo and Beyonce about some forest rats.

All of you fly-by-night PETA supporters should check out the website PETAkillsanimals.com before you go 'round pumpin' your fists and trashing your suede Berkinstocks[sp?]

84. While I'm not a huge fan of Pam (mine are bigger, and they're 100% real, and I feel no need to flaunt them in the middle of a store), I do think that she got the attention she was aiming for.
The process used to skin animals is despicable, disgusting, and incredibly inhumane. It's like some of the things that the Nazis did to the Jews and Gypsies and Homosexuals in the Holocaust. They used to skin people alive to see how long they could survive without skin. No anaesthesia, no comfort.
That's the same thing fur farmers do, except they could care less about how long the animal lives after it has been brutally skinned. Usually it's about a minute, and can be as much as three or four, depending on shock and how quickly blood is lost. During that minute or more, that animal feels every nerve ending that had been attached to its skin. It feels every burning, agonizing point of every destroyed nerve tip, and it has no idea why it's feeling the pain. All it knows is that it hurts, and then the animal dies with nobody to comfort it. Animals do understand comfort and sadness, as anyone who has had pets can testify.
Beef isn't the issue. Cows are killed for their meat, which is a natural part of the food chain. Eating meat is natural, despite what we are told by some vegan and vegetarian organizations. The hide from those cows would just go to waste if it wasn't used for shoes, sofas, belts, clothing, etc. However, the bodies of countless foxes, cats, minks, dogs, ermines, rabbits, chinchillas, coyotes, and squirrels do go to waste. They're thrown out into the dumpster and forgotten.
People, wake up and realize that the true message here isn't Pam's breast size; it's the fact that we are becoming a civilization with no care or compassion for anyone except ourselves.

85. Pam is an interesting woman. She's made some interesting choices in her life. I'm not a big fan, but I do respect her integrity. She is no hypocrite.

BTW, I eat meat and wear leather, and I've slaughtered and butchered - but I did it humanely. I agree with her that the callous treatment of fur bearing animals is unnecessary and horrible.

I'm pretty sure you've never seen her in fur or leather.

Naugahyde? yes.
Rubber? absolutely.
PVC? Her favorite, but no leather.

And yes. she is vegan,,,, (well, except for her fellers anyway,,,)

86. Don't agree with the cause, but admire her activism. "If you stand for nothing, you'll fall for anything."

87. She said wearing fur makes you look fat and makes you smell like a wet dog.

You know what? She's 100% right on both points.

Go Pam!
