Police Raids Over Jolie-Pitt Baby Shower

TMZ has learned the FBI and Massachusetts authorities raided a Westfield, Mass. home Tuesday night and seized photos of a baby shower held by Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt.

It's a bizarre story that starts in Namibia, where the shower was thrown. James Haven, Jolie's brother, took a number of pictures in Namibia. When he returned to L.A., his camera broke so he took it to Best Buy where the camera was purchased, and asked them to fix it under the warranty. Best Buy sent the camera to Precision Camera and Video Repair in Enfield, Connecticut.

Sources tell TMZ that two employees at Precision, Bill Keyes and Adam Beckwith, discovered the pictures in the digital camera. We're told that Keyes told authorities that Beckwith downloaded the photos.

Keyes mother, Madelon, told TMZ that her 36-year-old son was excited, showed her the pictures and sent an email to someone in California. Sources say the email may have been an attempt to sell the photos. Madelon Keyes told TMZ, "I don't think he would do something like that."

A sergeant from the Westfield Police Department confirmed with TMZ that authorities searched Keyes' home and seized his computer. The sergeant also said a search warrant was executed at Precision Camera and Video Repair and the actual camera that took the pictures was also seized.

The sergeant said neither Keyes nor Beckwith were arrested and that the case is in the hands of the LA County District Attorney. The sergeant says neither man violated Massachusetts law, but California laws are different.

Danielle Friedland of Celebrity Baby Blog tells TMZ that she received an email last week with sample photos attached, "to see what these photos may be worth." One of the of the images was on her blog. After some consideration, however, Danielle removed the images, believing the photos may have been illegally obtained.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney had no comment because the investigation is ongoing and no charges have been filed.

We could not reach Bill Keyes or Adam Beckwith for comment.

John Malinosky, President of Precision Camera and Video Repair said he was unaware of the search and "We have absolutely no knowledge of this."

TMZ placed a call to Lavely & Singer, Pitt and Jolie's lawyers, but it was not returned.

421. I here what all of you are saying, even though I think it seems a bit reactionary

I am not even close to famous, and I took a camera to be repaired. The shop "lost" the pictures. The FBI was called because I had pictures of my twin cousins who were 5 on the card.

I thought it was a bit excessive but I was told that it is standard procedure for the FBI because of child sex trafficking main way of spreading is through the internet

422. Im so tired of hearing about Brad, Jollie, and Babies.......who cares! Its not like they have discover the cure to cancer or aids. Sure, their humanitarian cause for the Namibian people is commendable, but its nothing less than what can be expected from two people who have money, resources, and celebrity status to bring attention to such a notable cause, but come on peole....get over it.

423. Wow, most people seem not to bother to read or learn the facts before attacking. The brother did not leave the memory card in. The camera techs accessed the internal memory buffer that all digital cameras have that store the last several 100 images as low res thumbnails and downloaded the pics. Most people dont know this exists, only camera techs. The guy trys to sell them to the tabloids on the net over state lines, so the fbi assist. I mean, its not like the la police can go to MA with a search warrant.

424. What's unfortunate is that Brad and Angelina cannot enjoy the ups and downs of parenthood without someone wanting and interview or a picture.... they have beautiful child. But rmember that because of who they are... the sickos of this workd will do anything and they have the right and the money to do all they must to keep that part of their lives private. I don't agree that because they are Hollywood stars and on our sets, we as a society should impose on their rights to privacy. I hope society can wait and when they deem it good, and at their discretion to provide us with updates, or anything... when and if they damn well please.... if not appreciate your privacy and let them have theirs.... I am happy for them and their families.... good luck and thanks for all you do do that is important to the world and others Angelina and Brad.... especially in Afrika and for the kids you have adopted when the rest of the world chose only to cover up the truth of their dirtly laundry and forget what is truly going on in the world. I Maritza.... hope you and your family endure an ifinite amount of prosperity and love together....

425. This is one of the craziest things I have ever heard. All of this comotion over a baby. IT'S JUST A BABY PEOPLE! My infant son was much more beautiful than this baby. Ask any mother and I'm sure they would say the same thing. Brad and Angelina created this frenzy on purpose. If they wouldn't make such a big deal out of this baby then nobody else would be interested either. They like all of the attention, it keeps them in the spotlight. The next movie they make will pay them a large fortune. It's all a money making scheme.

426. This is for post #8 Nola. My house was broken into and HALF of my belongings were stolen including a digital camera and a video camera. Do you think the FBI got involved? Or the SBI? (state bureau)?. Nope, it was all we could do to get the local law enforcement to come and make a report. Did we get our stuff back? Nope again. Not important enough. I hope nothing is ever stolen from you because if it happens, you are in for a rude awakening.

429. For all you self-centered, short-sighted, myopic Americans out there, Brad and Angelina are helping children in Africa... the continent that all modern humans decended from. If you feel no connection whatsoever for Africa, then you need to go back to school and recognize that Africa has given this planet thousands of times over the wealth that America has, and that we (I mean everyone) is indebted to Africa for the precious resources it has provided us. Not to mention the fact that Africa has been plundered of it's precious resources, so YOU can talk on your cell phones, or wear that big diamond on your finger. There are more orphans in Africa (over 15 million now) as a result of AIDS, than there are children under 5 years old in the US. So you sit back in your la-z-boy recliner, watching your FOX news and think about how the United States is responsible for increasing global warming because we won't sign the Kyoto Protocol, and you think about what this world will look like in 20 years if we let an entire continent of kids grow up without any help or support. You think about that and recognize that Brad and Angelina are doing something, and that is respectable!! You think about that, and then find it in your heart to complain about Americans who are helping repair the selfish, ego-centric, self-centered image of us that the rest of the world has. You people who have anything negative to say about Brad and Angelina are the sickest type of American and the lowest form of human life imaginable. Go fix New Orlean yourself.

430. well I have to agree about the FBI investigation over this. but a crime was committed, something was stolen and two people did try to see its worth for profit.
the pictures were on the internet, which the "Stars" did not intend this to happen. I think you could also say privacy is a matter here. when things cross state lines it becomes an FBI involvement they have better technology for things like this than local police departments. this service is available to anyone who needs it. Good for them to get the results they did. Maybe the two young men will be charged with theft with intent to profit. At least it is not a cold case.

431. OMG yea, yea ,yea Poor poor poor Brad and Angie they make me sick They don't help their own people they donate the money to other coutries that don't give a chap about the americans. We help all these coutries rebuild them , but did anyone rebuild the twin towers? NO The Americans need to wake up and start taking care of their own. All these other people from their home lands always look after their own and the hell with the Americans They come over here get top jobs and then only hire their own pretty soon Americans won't be here in this state or even this country anymore ,so poor poor Brad and Angie their life is so awful

432. This person should learn to respect the privacy of others, he should have to pay for the crime that he committed,.

If you let people like that walk with just a slap then they never learn even though this was his first time he was trying to make some quick cash.

You know the old saying if you do the crime you have to pay for the time.,

good luck on getting out of this with Brad and Angelina

433. It'd be nice if the FBI got involved when I had two of my cars stolen. But where were they then? Too bad I didn't have some pictures in my cars, maybe then they'd catch the real criminals!

434. I'm sorry to say this, but your all just missing the boat on this news story and the right you have in protecting your own personal privacy. Yes! Bradjolina and the media have created this hype surrounding their baby photos and the monetary windfall they will bring to the individual who procures them. Yet another yes, to the fact that a crime was committed when Bill Keyes and Adam Beckwith decided to make copies of the pictures and then offer them to the highest bidder. But lets all be serious here! Have our own lives and " raisons de vivre" become so void of importance and creative individuality that we must rely on the egoistic and self absorbed crowd to lull us into believing that they are so much more important than us and that we should really give a damn about what goes on in their lives.

From what I see right now, we have!

435. You should consider that Brad and Angelina pay millions and millions of dollars in taxes every year. That money goes to help the same people that trash them every day - you!
