Police Raids Over Jolie-Pitt Baby Shower

TMZ has learned the FBI and Massachusetts authorities raided a Westfield, Mass. home Tuesday night and seized photos of a baby shower held by Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt.

It's a bizarre story that starts in Namibia, where the shower was thrown. James Haven, Jolie's brother, took a number of pictures in Namibia. When he returned to L.A., his camera broke so he took it to Best Buy where the camera was purchased, and asked them to fix it under the warranty. Best Buy sent the camera to Precision Camera and Video Repair in Enfield, Connecticut.

Sources tell TMZ that two employees at Precision, Bill Keyes and Adam Beckwith, discovered the pictures in the digital camera. We're told that Keyes told authorities that Beckwith downloaded the photos.

Keyes mother, Madelon, told TMZ that her 36-year-old son was excited, showed her the pictures and sent an email to someone in California. Sources say the email may have been an attempt to sell the photos. Madelon Keyes told TMZ, "I don't think he would do something like that."

A sergeant from the Westfield Police Department confirmed with TMZ that authorities searched Keyes' home and seized his computer. The sergeant also said a search warrant was executed at Precision Camera and Video Repair and the actual camera that took the pictures was also seized.

The sergeant said neither Keyes nor Beckwith were arrested and that the case is in the hands of the LA County District Attorney. The sergeant says neither man violated Massachusetts law, but California laws are different.

Danielle Friedland of Celebrity Baby Blog tells TMZ that she received an email last week with sample photos attached, "to see what these photos may be worth." One of the of the images was on her blog. After some consideration, however, Danielle removed the images, believing the photos may have been illegally obtained.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney had no comment because the investigation is ongoing and no charges have been filed.

We could not reach Bill Keyes or Adam Beckwith for comment.

John Malinosky, President of Precision Camera and Video Repair said he was unaware of the search and "We have absolutely no knowledge of this."

TMZ placed a call to Lavely & Singer, Pitt and Jolie's lawyers, but it was not returned.

91. Martin, why do you single me out stating I made foul mouthed comments - I stated the facts - what is foul mouthed about bottom feeder, skank, bigged lipped, wife leaver? All those are facts and the truth of the matter is - that some of the other blogs stated skank, slut, whore, etc. How are my comments any better or worse than those. Why don't you re-read all the blogs and then personally attack me or someone else for that matter. Plus, if you have read my other blogs on the Brad Flees article, you would see that I apologize to those whom I may have offended in my wording expressing my disgust. I do not wish harm or bad things on anyone - whether they be the mega rich, mega stars or just common people like me. I hope you have a great day.

93. Who gives a rat's behind about this couple? Does the media really think that everyone is impressed with their self proclaimed importance? I would rather read the life story of a homeless person and learn of ways to help him get on his feet. I would rather hear about charities that help people rather than look at the ugly mugs of these two nonentities. She is a skank and he is Mr. skank. Now please take them out of the media. I don't buy newspapers or magazines anymore. Do I have to see these two dolts online too?

96. Wasn't Angelina Jolie just complaining about how America's focus is all wrong...what? Because its not on her and her ridiculous baby pictures! Who freakin cares. I am so over this stupid couple - I wish they would just go to Nambia and stay there. Who needs this? And hey - mister policeman, why don't you go help some real victims with real problems...you know, go after the real criminals - child molesters, rapists, drug dealers. This is unreal - the fact that I have spent this much time typing about these stupid pictures makes me even more mad. They had a baby - not the messiah, not the "Chosen One" - its a baby...maybe Angelina and Brad need to come back down to earth.

98. I agree with all of the above and below:
1. Is there where are tax dollars are going to pay for the FBI to capture photo thieves?
2. Doens't our law enforcement have anything else better to do than spend our tax dollars on something as useless as photo thieves?
3. Jolie and Pitt knew these types of attention would be put toward them and they get all bent out of shape about it?
4. Accidents do you happen ya know...and to get all excited about these pictures that Jolie's brother "accidentally" revealed then why should these two young men be blamed for it?
5. Come on, we are spending way way too much important energy worrying over this couple that had a baby. Let's put our efforts into more important issues.
6. Jolie is using this U.N. Embassador antic for more attention and money, if she was really into helping the poor then why doens't she donate all the money she is making toward the cause?
7. Im tired of hearing about these two humans and their kids, there are more important things to focus on than this couple who just makes movies, BIG FRIGGIN DEAL!!

99. Sarah, I believe that the whole point of everyones comments is that the FBI wouldn't do that for anyone other than Brangelina. I understand that they want their privacy but they are famous. Paris had an unauthorized sex tape that no one would do anything about and the FBI is taking baby shower photos???? I just think that it is a little much. Besides, who wants to see the darn pictures anyway?

102. It is VERY hard for me to BELIEVE that James Haven was forgetful enough to take out the memory card! Even if he could not take it out, he knows there are valuable or very private photos of his sister... A FAMOUS ACTRESS! You mean to tell me he didn't take extra measures to protect the care of those photos?? He could have found some way to take that darn chip or film out! Break the darn camera and get his sister to buy him a new one. Or give it to Brad and Angelina to go get fixed, since it's photos of them.

I can NOT believe they arrested someone or raided someone's house over these photos. Photos can be easily distributed! So, either don't take the photos or keep them under very special care!

I just can NOT believe James was really gullible enough to trust the Best Buy people to take care of those photos without distributing them. If anyone should be held responsible, it should be him! What makes Brangelina think that people are NOT going to distribute those photos! I mean, they weren't even pornographic. It was a party! If my party photos were copied and distributed, of course I can't do anything about it except get the law to handle it. But not the FBI. I highly doubt the FBI will care to take a bunch of my baby shower photos from another state. If someone was selling my baby shower photos, I wouldn't even care cause I'd be like "WHO CARES!" I don't see the FBI getting involved EVERY crime that happens across states. Maybe they were paid off by Brangelina. If Brangelina paid the FBI, THEN I would not have a problem with it!

But if the photos were COPIED and the chip was still under the care of the store, then what's the CRIME???

103. if people didnt buy the trash magizines, and stalk the stars, then the pictures wouldnt be so valuable would they?I agree that they should help our own. But then again, that is our governments responsibility, not a movie star!!!!!! Good for them that they are helping a country that cant help themselves.
Its their money, they can do whatever they want with it. They dont have to help anyone if they chose not to.

104. It amazing to me how the internet reveals people characters. Dumb and Dumber stole property that belong to someone else and tried to profit from it. They were asking over a million dollars for those photos, which they stole in the performance of their job.

This is like idenity theft and other like crimes, it's called white collar crimes and it happens everyday. Just because the people left a trail a mile long and posted their face and link their website on their demands. They committed a criminal act and deserve to be punished.

Maybe now people would stop being bitter, jealous and envious little people and congratulate the FBI for doing their job. Oh I forgot, the people that are pissed would prolly do the same thing and steal from a celebrity for money. Now they know that not all celebrities are like Paris Hilton and her fake stolen property...some truly mean it.

Don't mess with the Jolie-Pitts because they will hunt you down and prosecute you.

P.S. I see from a lot of the post that people are not aware of the new internet laws coming in effect since 911 and that because of the war on terror...the FBI have broad powers and if you commit a crime over the internet...the FBI is involve. Pick up a newpaper and read it so you know about these changes...Little things like theft of idenity, documents and photos are a serious offense now...and anything with the unorthorize image of a child for profit...is illegal. What a bunch of jackasses

105. Too bad everyday people are not treated with the same respect on matters that are JUST AS VITAL AND IMPORTANT in our own lives. I matter just as much as Brad and Angelina, but over the years, I've found out it's WHO you know and HOW MUCH MONEY ONES has that "gets the job done." It's all about money. Brad and Angelina should get the everyday treatment.....just like everyone else. They are not anyone special. We are ALL THE SAME.....NO ONE IS ANY BETTER THAN ANYONE ELSE.
