Japan's PM 'Ain't Nothing but a Hound Dog'

With apparently no other pressing matters in the world to attend to, President Bush took time to tour Graceland with Elvis Presley's #1 fan - Japan's Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi.

Japan's Prime Minister and Elvis
The heads of state played tourists after wrapping up two days of consultations.

Koizumi, who is stepping down from office in September, has been a member of The King's fan club for over 30 years.

Priscilla Presley and Laura BushThe President and Koizumi were joined by Elvis' daughter Lisa Marie Presley and his former wife Priscilla Presley. First Lady Laura Bush, dressed strangely similar to Priscilla,  was also on hand for the festivities which included Elvis' favorite meal of grilled peanut butter and banana sandwiches.

White House aides came up with the idea of the Graceland visit as the perfect gift for the Prime Minister's last official visit to the United States.

According to Elvis Presley Enterprises, which manages the estate, this was the first visit by any sitting president or world leader to Graceland.

46. Liar..OOps I meant Laura, you are totally clueless like most Busbbots!
It's the President's job to protect all Americans and to only send our troops to war when all other options have failed ,and when it's totally necessary by all accounts this war was UNNECESSARY. Colin Powell told us Saddam was under surveillance, which means they knew from the beginning that he NEVER moved any WMD'S...Think about that for a moment. Powell said we have him under surveillance, then when they couldn't find they WMD'S, they said oh he must have moved them. How is that possible when they were watching him all along?

Republicans you can't continue to follow this Administration with blind faith, because by doing so you're keeping our young men and women in Iraq. Bush has failed the American people, our troops, their families and the Iraqi people.
Sooner or later Saddam would have been overthrown by the Iraqis. All we had to do is support an anti-Saddam movement in Iraq. Imagine how many lives would have been saved. The actions of this reckless, ignorant Administration will be felt for years to come. No matter what anyone says the buck stops with Bush. You just don't go to war and then check the facts. Arrogance and Ignorance is a deadly combination, and thus far this Administration has displayed both.

47. While Bush is hard at work visiting Graceland guess what..."North Korea Threatens 'Full-Scale Nuclear War' if U.S. Attacks."

I'm not an expert but...Shouldn't he have his ass in Washington trying to come up with a solution?

48. The most patriotic thing to do is to QUESTION your leaders during a time of war. "Those who give up liberty for security, deserve neither"

49. Bush is a jackass!!!!!!!!!! He has made a mockery of America. My friends in Europe think we're the laughingstock of the world. I was asked how in the hell can the American people put a guy with the vocabulary of a second grader in charge of the free world? I always say it's the hillbilly's stupid! People need to remember that the Japanese PM is pulling his troops out of Iraq this month. So why is little Georgie kissing his ass???

51. Just wondering where you get your staff writers from - fired journalists from The New York Times? People please, you have got to lighten up! I also agree with Angel & Susan's statements. I can remember plenty of 'parties' Bill Clinton threw over the years as our President, most of them when Hillary was not at home. Maybe if he had payed a little more attention to the terrorists, like in '93 when they bombed the WTC, we would'nt be in this mess we are in now. As former Mayor of NYC Rudy said:"The war on terror should have started in 1993 after the first attempt of bombing the WTC." No matter what our president does or does not do the liberal media blames him for everything and ridicules him every chance they get. I'm surprised that he has'nt been blamed for Star Jones getting fired.

52. The 600 Japanese troops are leaving Iraq because the nut job running North Korea is thumping his chest yet again. This, among many other reasons, is why it was a no-brainer to take the Japanese PM to Graceland. If you can make a guy's dream come true by taking a trip to Memphis, then get on the plane & do it.

The President can't lock himself in the Oval Office as he can't single-handedly finish all that needs to be done in Iraq. He has thousands of capable people on the ground doing just that. Would it be a very confident picture for the rest of the world if it looked as if the Commander in Chief weren't visible during a time of war.

54. To the writer who said Bush had nothing more important to do..
You have no shame making an idiotic statement like that...its so stupid. The only thing I have read this week that is more asinine is the Pakistani who put a light bulb in his ass an does not know how it got there. If you have a lightbulb why dont you try this so you can be number one in the buffoon book this month?

GREAT QUESTION!!

56. Actually, if Bush had of taking the memo "Bin Laden Determined to attack within America" Seriously, 911 would have never happened. Yet, once again playing was more important than working. Same thing with hurricane Katrina he didn't want to end his vacation early. Now he's parting with the PM, while we're at war..It's just not cool. I 'm wondering too why he's hosting a guy who took his troops out of Iraq.

57. He can take this guy to Graceland, but he didn't have time to meet with the mother of a slain solider? Bush is one big sad joke.

58. Does any one remember Elvis went into the Army and served the country and is there any celebrity that has done the same since or are they all to liberal now?

59. Elvis was drafted. We haven't had a draft in over 25 years. Clinton was drafted - he didn't go. Bush was drafted - he flew airplanes in Texas. Cheney was drafted - he didn't go b/c, in his words, he had more important things to do in his life.

60. I don't think Bush and Cheney fall under the category of "liberal "
