16. Divorce is never easy. I wish them both the best. They are very young. I'm sure they will both look back on their marriage and wonder how they let outside influences cause them to doubt. Who knows, they may find each other again in the future.

18. why do people care so much about nick and jessica? he's nice looking and so is she but there are millions of people out there who look just like them so who really cares..the only reason she acts the way she does now is because she thinks she is so great and guess what..we are the ones who put that into her head and now she thinks she is going to get someone better than nick to put up with her crap.please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

19. Jessica will be soooo sorry one day because she let the best thing in her life go. I just think it is funny - her father did not want her to sign a pre-nup because he made more money and now the shoe is on the other foot. Now I am sure daddy is having a fit because she stands to loose a ton of money that he thinks belongs to him. Her father is a real slime bucket. She has been linked to some real woofers. Come on leave Nick Lachey for Johnny Knoxville and Bam Margera. Frankly they are pretty gross. Aside from Nick she has horrible taste in men. Just like her mother.

21. I think it's funny Jessica was telling on every tv interview that she was going to play Lucy in the Dallas movie. Well it went to Katie Cassidy instead. I hope Jessica can't find work and her album flops!

22. I really enjoyed watching their reality tv sometimes. It's so true and apparent that Jessica does it for the money and Nick does it to please a wife. He even helped her do her commercials for her new products for girls, except for ProActiv (don't use it, made my face swell up and skin fall off in a week, seriously its a very strong burning medication for severe acne). When two people love each other they should work it out. If Nick did the reality show with his wife and she kept the monies, then its obvious that money and fame was most important to her. Perhaps, maybe Nick cheated (nah) Jessica cheated (maybe), we will never know because they don't even know the truth. SSsssh! Hollywood secrets.....................Nick will get a nice woman and have a real family, Amen.

23. I remember the first time i was exposed to Jessica Simpson in Los Angeles at Wango Tango about 6 years ago She did a brief set and sang "I Wanna Love You Forever" and I said WOW! what a voice. However, Hollywood, fame and her father have exploited this poor girl. Yes she's laughing all the way to the bank, but she's lost her beauty, and looks like one hard haggard broad. She's the one that should be singing "what's left of me." This is a classic example of how fame, money and Hollywood have destroyed another young girl.

24. i heard that jessica cheated on nick anyway and the father agreed to let her go for that garbage. and what a jerk he is. i hope that jessicas mother finds out that the father was behind all this stupid trash. and nick was hurt. and ashley was hurt to see nick hurt. but couldn't do anything about it because she can't upset her sister (which is reasonable i can't blame ashley) but really for sure she loved nick like a brother. and now it's just jessica that had to lie to everyone. she can save it for later. i tried talking the papers out of getting involved with her marriage and that was close enough to work. but if she followed what i told her then none of this would have happened. well nick should fine someone that will treat him correctly. nick will find some girl. he's just gotta find her.

25. It is so sad to see that Jessica would take Hollywood over her marriage. When she gets old Hollywood will abadon her but I dont think that Nick wouldve. He seemed to be such a humble person. HE DID HIS OWN YARDWORK lol.

27. The saddest issue to me is Jessica appears to have lost herself in the fame and in the "sexy" stuff. She of course is hitting that stage in her life where she is getting noticed and she had never had that. What is really sad is she had something with Nick. I do think she is manipulated by her dad as is Ashlee. But that is their choice. It is sad that Nick seemed to be disposable. The only interest in their marriage was to make money. Mr. Simpson gained a lot. His daughter lost a lot and that is sad. She may not have been educated but she was unconditionally loved and her quirks were enjoyed by Nick. It is all just really sad and there is really no justification for someone claiming Christianity and letting a marriage go when fame hits. Who really knows what went on behind the cameras, but what it comes down to is a marriage deserves attention. And I just am sad that it appears Jessica has lost her "spirit" to the fakeness of hollyweird. But hey...money is money ... and with fame comes freebies...and notoriety is attention and when a gal is Jessica's age, I guess that is where the priorities lie. Very sad. Not that Jessica is bad. Not that Nick is a god...ok well we like his eyes, but Jessica represented herself as something that she seems to have lost sight of. That is sad. Nick set her free .These are just my opinions, but I just wish there was actually a "star" that impressionable kids could look up to and really idolize without it being all about sexy.
I feel sorry for her. I am sad that their hope is gone.

29. The dudes a moron! I don't care how cute you think he is, she is freakin' hot, a total airhead, but hot. Who the heck is he anyway. You would have no idea who he is if Jessica Simpson wasn't so damn famous. Maybe she doesn't deserve it, but she is. She made a ton of money and he wants a divorce. It's one of the first cases of a male gold digger I've ever heard of. Good for him I guess but I don't feel sorry for him at all. How is she ever gonna find someone to put up with her? Despite the fact that she's a total hottie.

30. CONGRATULATIONS NICK! Much luck to you in the future; Look for a real "woman" this time and not a whinny little girl who looks like a man except for the big chest. Jessica is so transparent, the way she stiffens up and pouts when someone says something she doesn't like is so funny.
