With contestants whose names are Nordic Thunder, Psycho Dave and Count Rockula, it's pretty much guaranteed that the US Air Guitar Championships are a one of a kind event.
The '06 air guitar nationals were held at New York's Bowery Ballroom and had only one rule: The guitar - which can be acoustic or electric - must be "invisible", although you can use a real pick.
This year's winner, Craig "Hot Lixx Hulahan" Billmeier, will represent America at the world championships in Oulu, Finland from September 6-8.
