She waited and finally got a real man; I'm very happy for both of them. Guess, I'm one of the lucky ones as well as some of the other ladies here because my husband still opens doors for me. And if we go into a place and it's raining when we come out, my husband tells me to stay inside while he runs through the puddles to the car and then drives over as close to the door as possible and leans over and has the door open for me to jump in. #8 sure seems "jaded" that's sad she cannot believe there are men who routinely do this.

18. please, a man's manners have nothing to do with where he was raised or how much money he has, and everything to do with HOW he was raised. I have males friends raised in cities like New York and Chicago who always open doors for me, and we're not even dating! a man does these things for a woman when he respects her, and only a good upbringing does that. as far as I'm concerned, good parents are good parents, whether they are in CA, NY, or bumfuck.

20. You go girl. Keith Urban and Nichole Kidman make a wonderful couple together. I wish them the best of everything. Tom was an ass for leaving her. Tom and Miss Katie are too far in age to make it. I really do not think they will marry because they both realize that now. Why do you think he set up a trust for her and the baby to have money to live off of? Tom wants his cake and eat it too.

21. I agree with Angie and also agree that Susan is probably cynical. I think that Nicole and Keith are lucky to have found each other and seem to be very much in love. Granted, Nicole more than likely has a larger bank account than Keith, but he certainly has enough $$ of his own so I don't think money is an issue in this relationship.

22. It's nice to see a man with some manners! I don't think it's because she's rich or expects it or anything cynical! I think it was the way he was raised! And yes, manners are alive and well in the South and other parts of the country and I for one am glad! You'll find good manners like this also come from military training. And mothers! My husband of 25 years still opens my doors and my 4 sons open doors for women, children and anyone older then them!
Maybe things would be alittle nicer in this world if more people stopped and did little niceties like this!

23. If Keith Urban opens the door for Nicole Kidman, he is a gentleman, if Brad does the same for Angelina, he is whipped. The media sure do have people that they want to look bad and the ones that they want to build up.
Nicole and Keith enjoy it while it lasts, cos sooner or later the media will turn on them.

24. I've always wondered who is tucking her kids in bed at night. Nice to be able to travel here and there at the drop of a hat, but I wouldn't trade places with her in a heart beat. And I am a HUGE Keith fan, but a bigger fan of my baby and husband. Family: we all go together, not just when it's convenient. I didn't have my baby to only spend time with her ocassionally.

26. I think it is very sweet and i happen to know that keith opens doors for all ladies, not just his new wife......It is called class, and Keith has always been a classy guy......he learned well from his parents.....and i wish them both the best of luck.....

29. I saw him do the same thing for his mom when she toured with him in 2004 and also Niki Taylor when I saw them in 2003. Good manners are something that he learned at home--it is something he has done all his life and just comes natural.

30. While I think there are chivalrous and wonderful men all over the country, I think by far it is found most frequently in the South. They also are much more polite and respectful, on the whole. I would say that either Keith was raised right or his years of living in the South have taught him a few things.
Nicole may be ridiculously wealthy but after that first million or two, what difference does it make? He has quite a few millions of his own and if they were to break it off, he would STILL be making millions. He doesn't exactly need to treat her like a lady because she has all the money. He does so because he is a gentleman and he loves her.
