Spelling Mansion Secretly On the Market

TMZ has learned that Candy Spelling, Aaron's widow, has quietly put the Spellings' legendary mansion on the market for $150 million.

Sources in the real estate industry say Westside Estate Agency (WEA) has a pocket listing on the 56,000 square foot estate, meaning it is quietly being shopped among realtors and select buyers. The mansion, located in the exclusive Holmby Hills area of L.A., was completed in 1991 for around $47 million, which includes $10 million for the land.

One real estate source says Candy Spelling has let a lot of people on the staff go and that the buzz is that she is going to shut the house down so it can be shown by realtors. Aaron Spelling died on June 23.

631. Give me a break! Bill Gates does have to be asked to give money to the poor..He has been doing it for years with a smile on his face. However, getting back to Candy.....she will regret no making amends with her daughter. ..She needs to suck it up and learn to forgive....life is tooo short.

632. Money, Money, Money....that is all people think about. I think relationships with family is more important than money. This is her only daughter. Forgive and move forward. If I had that much money....what would a $10 million chunk to a daughter and son mean? That is just pocket change. I would sell that house too. I could not stay in such a big house....spooky!!!! May the family make up and have a continued happy life. May God Bless this mess!!!!

633. I really find it a huge and tacky place, but I think that the will for Aaron Spelling should have left what to do with it. And I still think that the mother is a bit greedy. If I had a child and my husband died I would still help out my child and give him/her a portion, especially in that age. I do not think she will be living for hundred more years to spend her money. I just think that the more money the greedier one gets.

634. What a bunch of jealous liberals you guys are!He worked hard to earn his money, it was not handed to him. I don't see any homeless people working hard, maybe just a little looking for a handout. If you are worried about the homeless give them some of your money each week. Their money they can do as they please, not what you SAY you would do. Get up out of your one bedroom rental apts and do something, be creative and better yourself.

636. I'm just wondering why people feel that those who earn millions should be tossing that cash over to the homeless or those less fortunate. It amazes me the way people toss this thought out there. WHy should she donate this money to those sorts of causes? Because she has it? What about the disgustingly rich overseas who live like this and more and yet people in their country are BEGGING on the street?

Bah give it to the needy.

I do, however see something here. Mom's out for the moolah and so's Tori. I believe Tori has been and always will be a rich man's spoiled little brat. I believe Mom was pissed at the results of her multi million dollar wedding event to Tori's first hubby which reports say she wasn't satisfied with nor did she feel was big enough. mom felt not enough of mom's friends were there...been fighting ever since.

Yep. Two money hungry bitches fighting over a dead mans hard work and fortune.

Way to go

637. So true! Leave her be, it is her life, she can do what she wants. It's not her fault people mess up their lives, why she should she help those who won't help themselves. Look after yourself and your family first, then help others- if you choose.
