EXCLUSIVE: Cruise/Shields' Births -- New Twist

UPDATE: St. John's Hospital still has not called back, but we may have figured out what is going on here. It seems as if the nurses entered the license number of the doctors who delivered the children. Doctors are registered with the Medical Board, not the Nursing Board. Reps from two other hospitals -- UCLA and St. Joseph's -- told TMZ the box for "License Number" should have the nurse's license, not the doctor's.

A rep from L.A. County Vital Records, the agency where birth certificates are filed, confirmed to TMZ that the "License Number" should be the nurse's, not the doctor's.

The same nurse who signed the birth certificate for Tom Cruise's daughter Suri also signed the birth certificate for Brooke Shields' daughter Grier, but there's an interesting discrepancy.

Both babies were born on April 18 at St. John's Hospital in Santa Monica. Anne Heffernan is the registered nurse who signed both birth certificates. As TMZ reported Monday, Heffernan, who never saw Suri, signed her birth certificate. A hospital rep says Heffernan is authorized to sign when a doctor is not available.

On the Suri Cruise certificate, Heffernan's license number is G48079. On the Grier Henchy certificate, Heffernan's license number is different -- G068399. TMZ checked with the California Board of Registered Nursing and we were told Heffernan's license number didn't match either of the birth certificates. A Board rep told TMZ Hefferman's license number is 317058.

And it gets more interesting. The Board of Registered Nursing told TMZ the license number on Grier's certificate comes back to a Dorothy Rork. The license number on Suri's birth certificate is a mystery. There is no name attached to that license number.

By the way, unlike Suri's birth certificate, Brooke Shields signed the one for her daughter. Someone listed as "Friend" signed the certificate for Suri.

Also, the hospital's policy is to file birth certificates with L.A. County within 10 days of birth. In the case of Suri, it took 20 days to file, in part because the "friend" didn't sign for 16 days. In Grier's case, Brooke herself signed two days after her birth and the certificate was filed nine days after the baby was born.

TMZ placed multiple calls to St. John's. So far, no comment.

91. Tom Cruise is a NUT! I don't understand how a 'friend' can sign a birthcertificate when here where I live the fathers name cannot be added unless he is present to sign. I think Tom isn't man enough to make a baby maybe the :FRIEND" helped in that department. And as for brooke Shield she is a fabulous person I think she signed the birthcertificate because she raises her children! Not the Nanny or the Scientology Cult!!!!!!!

92. ok I thought that they was suppose to NOT have a birth in a hospital and that it was suppose to be like all hush hush and wasn't able to see the baby and all MAYBE THE BABIES REAL DADDY didnt want that freak cruise takin over and took the baby from them I mean come on all woman know giving birth with or without pain meds will hurt and no sounds ok why no sounds maybe it was one of them strap on belly things like they use on tv and they say no sounds and no one or her can see the baby because they'd be ashamed to show off the pillow hmmm I dont know if she was pregnant than maybe what people say its someones elses the real father took it seeing what hell it went through to be born in some odd world not to see the mom and so forth I dont know its all messed up but they are celebs they can get away with it I guess married to like 20 people in a lifetime is ok for them because they have the money but for a basic person like us will make us look like trash even if we had 2 marriages , I's like to know whats up with that gosh all other celebs they even been spotted with their babies out even if its covered you still see a foot or something

This is only further evidence that Tom is involved in high witchcraft- they call it Scientology, but it's the same thing- 33rd degree Mason, 33rd degree Scientologist and you have "healing" powers, as claimed by Cruise himself on the Diane Sawyer interview, most of which he lied through- he had such a lying spirit on him-no one is going to believe his story anyway, no matter what happened to his baby. I am grieved for the child, probably dedicated to the devil by now. There is only One healer and One way of Truth- Hollywood will one day realize it, hopefully not too late. Wake up, people!!! Many a famous people have sold their souls to get where they are- watch the fruit of their lives, don't just listen to what they say. The enemy of your soul is good at taking advantage of a broken childhood and traumatic life events to entice you into a religion or world system for that matter, that promises to give you power. Just like he did with Tom.

95. Of course this is weird, but not really out of the ordinary for *this* couple. As for Suri, the alleged "child", I'm not entirely sure she exists. If there was a complication, that is heartbreaking, otherwise it's just plain weird. and i wouldn't put it past Tom Cruise. scientology is c.r.a.z.y. Nobody's really seen much of Tom or Katie as they've been dating, and when they've been spotted their aggressive "love" looks pretty staged. Whatever the case, if Suri exists, I hope she's safe.

97. I think Katie is suffering from post partum and Tom can't deal with it. I think he may be needing to eat crow after what he said about Brooke and is embarressed. kattie can't hold up in public very long so they are not going out.

100. The pregnancy was a fake. Katie never really look pregnant. Her stomach always looked different in size in each photo. It was done all for publicity. That's what they do in Hollywood.

the "birth certificates" are clearly fake....again his name is not "Tom Cruise" he has a last name but besides that, why do any of you think that you're entitled to see this baby...it's still none of our business
