Katie Holmes sought to quell the controversy surrounding her invisible baby, telling Us Weekly, "Suri's doing great!"

Katie was snapped by the weekly during a vacation in Telluride, Colo., strolling down the street with a friend and a cappuccino. Neither fiancé Tom Cruise -- nor, significantly, baby Suri -- were anywhere to be found.

Us, in a three-page spread, says a couple of Telluride locals have reported Suri spottings, including a clerk at a natural-goods store, who said Suri is "funny looking."

With Suri question marks far from resolved -- even her birth certificate is a mystery -- brace yourself for a new TomKat obsession: Us now speculates that the 27-year-old Katie could be pregnant again. The issue is on newsstands this week.

61. After reading these comments, I am sooo reminded how wretchedly cruel people can be. Let's face it folks.......you would have been just as upset if they didn't protect the infant's privacy! I can just envision the headlines if that were the case!!!By Gosh,people, .......please check yourselves, and get a clue......maybe you haven't seen pics of Suri, because it's none of your damn business!! Did that ever occur to any of you; that this is not a movie premiere, or public engagement of any kind? Furhtermore, did you know stalking is, in itself, the end product of mental illness?! Get a grip.......Mr. Tom Cruise is one of the most famous, talented, intelligent, enduring, and yes, spiritual actors/artists of our time, and I doubt he cares what you all think at all.........he's heard it ALL in his 20+ year career.........dah.........Be Real! Why don't you leave him and his bride-to-be alone, and allow them some privacy and yes, happiness!! SNAP OUT OF IT AND MOVE ON, VULTURES!!

62. Wow!! I just read what, Andrea, wrote and I have to say "BRAVO" to you!! I hope, Tom, reads that and flips out ha ha. I can't stand, Tom Cruise, or Stephan, or whatever his name is. Besides being a nasty looking man, he is an egotistical, self centered, scumbag to say the least. And no offense to ,Katie, but she is a child and, Tom, can't get women anymore because women have no time for his bull****. I truly do not believe there is a baby, I truly do not believe, Tommy, likes women either. Didn't ,Rebecca DeMornay (spelling?) say he was he worst in bed and had a small penis? So maybe in all actuality, Katie, is still a virgin because I doubt he broke the hymen anyway. Who cares what that man does, says, or what Mission Impossible movies he stars in. I don't care how much money he as either. Obviously money can't buy him honesty, integrity, and morals. He is the new ,Michael Jackson, the washed up, Madonna, and the last gay actor in Hollywood that has yet come out of the closet. Tom, those you sh** on on the way up you meet on the way down.....and your goin' down. That is one gossip issue that I will def buy so I can laugh at you. Maybe, Michael Jackson, will let you stay at his Neverland Ranch where you can both live n fantasy fairyland for all eternity.

This whole business about Tom's children with Nicole not being seen until they were grade school age is rubbish, probably spin from Team Cruise, because I clearly remember seeing several photos of Tom & Nicole walking with Bella and Connor in Central Park when both children were still very young...far younger than grade school age. Whatever the case is with Suri, one thing is for certain, Tom (I doubt "Kate" has a voice in any major decisions in that relationship) has elected to make different choices for this child in terms of media exposure than he did for Bella and Connor.

66. I loved Andrea's post. While I never actually thought about there NOT being a baby, it does make sense in a way. Katie is a zombie-robot. She's haggard and tired looking. Most celebs want to show off their babies one way or another. We followed her through the pregnancy, she traveled with him, went to movie premiers, etc....Show us the baby (if there is one). They could submit their own photo if they wanted to. I'm sure they're taking plenty of pictures. Or at least the grandparents are (or should be). The more I think about it the more confusing it becomes. I was so tired of seeing their faces on the news and magazines, then they were replaced with the other two revolting ones (Brad & Angelina). The only thing that MIGHT lead me to believe that Katie has a baby is how horrid she looks in the picture. Do you have to look that bad when you're out with a pal having coffee???

69. Yeah so Katie was never actually pregnant BIG WOW what a suprise yada yada whatever. I'm suprised it didnt come out earlier. And while we're on the topic, am I the only one who feels theres alwayz been something strangely ODD about Tom??

Oh yeah and dont get your hopes up people because there will be no TomKat wedding but this whole thing has just put some extra money in Tommy's pocket. More power to the weird chemistrology people!!

70. As a parent, I am truly sickened that someone would call a baby "funny looking", and even further outraged that it would be published. How horrible and hurtful. This is an innocent child, and I cannot imagine reading such words about my own child plastered for all the world to see. I thought my baby was the most beautiful baby I had ever seen, and now that he's two when I look back on his newborn pictures, he really wasn't very cute, because newborns ARE NOT. What total lack of regard and class.

71. I must admit I'm concerned for little Katie. She's so adorable and (I believe) is now realizing that Mr. Cruise needs a little help from the state...mental hospital. If Suri doesn't exist and the media finds out, Tom will reply by laughing hysterically while dancing naked covered in Cool Whip and olives. She on the other hand, will be the laughing stock of the nation and it will destroy her career. I just pray that this is something that we're all just way too interested in and I'm sure the Cruise family is laughing at us...although, their friends haven't seen her either...but all I have to say is that if America were anticipating the birth of my baby, I would just give at LEAST the devoted fans a glimpse..ONE picture even. If this turns out to be a sham (given that Tom is involved, I'm willing to bet he still believes he's on the set of Vanilla Sky), we can be sure this Vampire Lestat and former Dawson's Creeker will be riding the bus with the rest of us.

74. Forget Suri but am I the only one noticing that since Suri's birth, Katie's pictures have carried alot of sadness in her eyes. Her eyes hold a blank look or a sad, disturbed look. Really feel sad for her and i don't even know why.
As for Suri, leave her alone!! They have a right to protect the baby after the zoolike atmosphere Tom created over himself and Katie. I can't take anymore of his maniacal grins/laughter/smiles anymore than i can stand him jumping off the couch once again.

75. You all need to leave them alone. Just because they don't want to stick their baby's face in front of nosy people doesn't mean anything. Who cares if something is wrong with their baby. That's the key: It's THEIR BABY! They're not obligated to show her face just so the public can have more to talk about.
