Nick & Jessica's Awkward Moment

Nick & Jess at Hyde: Click to watchThe ex-'Newlyweds' had a run-in this weekend at Hollywood hot spot Hyde, where the two partied separately - at the same time. The club is relatively small, with a capacity of about 100 people, so it would be near impossible for them to miss each other.

Adding salt to Simpson's open wound was the presence of Lachey's rumored new girlfriend, Vanessa Minnillo, who showed up in the same car with Nick.

While Lachey has been linked to a number of women, Jessica admitted in the current issue of OK! Magazine that she's still living the single life saying, "I don't feel right about dating yet."

According to Gossip Gangster Perez Hilton, the two were cordial inside the club, even giving each other a hug.

Nick and Jessica's divorce became final on June 30th, though the two are still involved in property and financial disputes.

136. I wish Nick would just get back with Jessica. They obviosly love each other. I seen the pictures of Jessica, and yes she looks sad, But I also seen pictures of Nick & Vanessa after they left in his car and Vanessa was all laughing and happy but Nick's face looked heartbroken! Hmmm, could it be that he felt bad hurting her feelings. I don't think he loves Vanessa, and I think she is just trying to get publicity. Honestly, I never heard of her before this.

139. I am no fan of Jessica's-BELIEVE ME!!! Nick-ILOVE YOU and have since 98 degrees before Jessica was even a thought in you're mind. I read the comments here and I pretty well agree with most, however, has anyone noticed that Jessica's new single is actually doing pretty well? I don't know how that could be. Everywhere that I go, its nothin but jessica is a bitch, Jessica is a slut etc. etc. So, if so many people (and I have read a lot of bad stuff from a lot of people) are against her, how can she be doing so well?? I think there are a lot of in-the closet Jessica fans. A lot of people who are jealous as hell of her but secretly like her music. Am I off base??? With all the comments and negative things I have heard about this girl-EVEN FROM HER OWN SUPPOSED FANS!-She should be underground by now!! So, what is going on??? All I can say is you Nick fans, get you're butt out there and start supporting the person who deserves the success!!!

142. NIcks putting up an act right now! When Jessica starts to date hes gonna be hating life...... "Jessica was and is his love", said by NICK himself. He will never find another women like her, but he will relize that soon... Jessica should not be with anyone jealous of her, especially the man she loves.... If he didnt change his act soon, that marriage was doomed to fail. What was she supposed to do? Give everything up because her husband was jealous she was doing so good......HELL NO!!!! If thats the case then he never deserved her in the first place. Nick needs to drop the whole macho attitude, and say hes sorry!!!!!
