While Jessica's love life makes the gossip pages everyday, the younger Simpson sister has been making headlines of her own lately due to her remarkable makeover. While the pop princess has never admitted to having plastic surgery, it's been widely speculated that she's had at least a nose job.
At a launch party for Victoria's Secret Pink clothing line Simpson addressed her new look, being as vague as possible. "I think we live in a world where everyone's focused on looks and this life is to be lived for yourself and to enjoy it, so whatever makes you feel confident and sexy is what you should do."
Plastic surgery or not, people are definitely taking notice. Though Simpson reportedly turned down a $4 million offer to pose for Playboy, she's definitely loving every minute of the attention, "I am feeling great about myself," she says, "completely confident and nothing in particular, just feeling good."
Simpson is currently on tour promoting her new album, "I Am Me."

These people think I'm an idiot. Somehow, a radical change of nose must be attributed to the wonders of nature and not a swift surgical slice. Of course, I mean, I wake up every single month a little bit blonder, with new improved features, a higher perkier ass, and my boobs are growing progressively.

I don't think that the problem of anyone who posts on this site is that the Simpson sisters are younger and/or more wealthy. The problem is the message and the fact that any young person thinks it makes sense. Ashlee Simpson is preaching self esteem to young girls while surgically transforming her face. She is #2 on TRL because young people like and look up to her and that's what is disturbing. She is only perpetuating our society's warped vision of how women should look. You CANNOT preach self esteem and have plastic surgery at the same time. If Ashlee was so self assured, I'm fairly certain that she would not have felt the need to go under the knife. I would think that it would be easy to think you look great if you can create what your face looks like. What's difficult is being happy with what God gave you. God did not give Ms. Simpson that nose (or those cheeks, or that chin....)

11. you people commenting are probably what in your 30s? have you taken the time to realize both Simpson sisters are not trying to appeal to your age range. Both girls look gorgeous and obviously people buy their albums. Ashlee sends out a good message...you need to be comfortalbe with who you are. when you're more comfortable about your looks you are able to let more of yourself out. I love Jeissca and Ashlee, and think they are both doing an excelent job.

I am responding to the post by rachel above: You say she sends out a good message, to be comfortable with who you are....but if she was comfortable with who she was, she wouldn't need plastic surgery. She would realize that she could be beautiful just how she is. What she's doing is encouraging young girls like yourself to go out and get plastic surgery, make yourself pretty, and life will be grand. Grow up!

The fact that she is preaching self esteem and "like who you are" and then morphing into her sister just shows how ignorant she is. She is talent free. There is nothing remotely appealing about this girl. "I am me" ......what a joke. The album should be called "I was me, that didn't sell so now I am a cheap imitation of my older sister". HA! there's a title.

If i remember right, Ashley wanted to break away from the whole "Jessica's little sister" image, so she died her hair black, wore punk clothes, and said she's her own person....WTF! Where did all that mumbo jumbo go? Now she's an exact replica...Jessica's image sells, so Daddy Joe probably figured if he had two of them...more$$$$!! Its a joke. This is what we teenage girls have to look up to. These so called independent, strong, proud women....who conform to every stereotype out there. She should've stayed the way she was. Even though she's talentless, at least I had a little respect for her.
