EXCLUSIVE: The Beckhams Are Coming!

After conquering most of the known world, English soccer star David Beckham and his wife, former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham, are readying to bring their media invasion stateside. TMZ has learned they have begun house hunting in Los Angeles.


The supercouple are looking to set up digs in the affluent Bel Air section of town -- home to many of Hollywood's biggest stars and moguls.

While David currently plays for Real Madrid, earlier this month he resigned as captain of England's national team and is rumored to be in talks to join the Los Angeles Galaxy soccer team.

The move seems logical since David has already set up a branch of his youth soccer camp, The David Beckham Academy at Southern California's Home Depot Center. And since murmurs of a Spice Girls reunion never materialized, a move to L.A. might be the first step toward launching Victoria's Hollywood career.

So move over Brangelina, TomKat and Bennifer because Posh and Becks are ready for their closeup!

Paul Bloch, David and Victoria's American rep, denied the Beckhams were planning a U.S. move.

17. Is it really that easy to move to the States when neither one of them was born there? I wouldn't have thought it was that simple?

18. At least we'll have someone with fashion sense to watch. Victoria is always on the inside track with fashion and hopefully all the bimbos will learn something. She'll show the fashionless divas how to dress and accessorize. I'd love to see her on the cover of In Style. She's one that has it. Everyone else there, definitely doesn't.

This is old news,the Beckham have been quoted as far back as 2003 in stating their desire to live in the US.And more recently David has been more open about his retirement plans of exitng Real Madrid and closing his career possibly playing for the US soccer team, as a last bow.And also Victoria's career in fashion has a worldwide, and devoted US folowing,and her expansion of the brand will no doubt be as popular stateside. So it is logical that they are L.A. bound, and I welcome them.Becuase with their celebrity they seem to manage to be happy and as level headed as any person.

And I also welcome TMZ finally catching on to Beckham news eventhough they are behind. It is a nice change from the daily Parasite Hilton, Hohan,and further vile useless celeb news they seem to trump, if you can call it news.

24. You know its disgusting how you people bash The Beckhams. Victoria is business minded (all you have to do is go google her professional achievements. And I'm not talking about the Spice Girls), doesn't sleep around, and dresses in a pretty fashionable and tasteful way. She's in demand and respect by many top designers and has her own range. In addition, she has a long term marriage and children. Never have you seen tabloid talk on about how she is a drug user or an alcoholic. Not one of you make ANY mention of her live performances, music, books, or charity causes. For people to even post on a messageboard that she is the same as Paris Hilton is embarrassing.

It seems like you just hate her because you think she's too thin, too tanned, European, and her clothes are different. Sucks to be you people. Grow up.

And what about David? He's an accomplished athlete with a bank account and family. So what's the deal? A model/singer/author/designer/composer (yes, check the writing credits of her tracks) marries a world-famous athlete.

Let's all hate them because of that.
