EXCLUSIVE: The Beckhams Are Coming!

After conquering most of the known world, English soccer star David Beckham and his wife, former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham, are readying to bring their media invasion stateside. TMZ has learned they have begun house hunting in Los Angeles.


The supercouple are looking to set up digs in the affluent Bel Air section of town -- home to many of Hollywood's biggest stars and moguls.

While David currently plays for Real Madrid, earlier this month he resigned as captain of England's national team and is rumored to be in talks to join the Los Angeles Galaxy soccer team.

The move seems logical since David has already set up a branch of his youth soccer camp, The David Beckham Academy at Southern California's Home Depot Center. And since murmurs of a Spice Girls reunion never materialized, a move to L.A. might be the first step toward launching Victoria's Hollywood career.

So move over Brangelina, TomKat and Bennifer because Posh and Becks are ready for their closeup!

Paul Bloch, David and Victoria's American rep, denied the Beckhams were planning a U.S. move.

91. Who cares didn'y they try closing a shop in Beverly Hills a couple of years ago so they can shop in peace without all the media coverage and the shop owner just laughed at them. Beckham who?

94. I say welcome to the U.S., Victoria & David! These are two of the most famous, gorgeous and glamorous people in the world and I'd be happy to have them living here in L.A. I'm so alarmed at the mean-spirited comments posted on this site. Do those of you who wrote those comments even like yourselves? I seriously doubt it. But, let's hope that the Beckhams do decide to grace L.A. with their presence. I know there are a lot of people who will warmly welcome them.

95. jeez, she's skinny. that doesnt make her gross. shes a pretty woman. sure shes a little skinny, but hey look at paris hilton, kate hudson or whoever, most celebrities look like they havent eaten in months.
and how childish is that? no wonder he cheats on her, etc.

Yea she may be thin, but you have to admit she is HOT...and possibly David coming over here will give U.S. Soccer a better rep. so all of you out there that dont want them to come here, think about how much more you will hear about soccer if they do...Did you knw that the salary cap for soccer is less than the lowest you could get paid for playing Basketball...consider that before all of you Hypocrites out there automatically start thinking about all the bad and begin thinking aout some of the good that could come from this................

102. I think they are fantastic. She looks great - toned, tanned, OK she always pulls that stupid face, but hey ho, she is looking every bit the European lady these days. He is a great professional sportsman, at the top of his game for close to ten years and is gorgeous. They have 3 lovely kids and media attention we can only imagine. They always have their family around - really close knit. COME ON America - Brits are supposed to be the ones who knock the successful and rich. You're supposed to bolster and encourage. And so what if they are not royalty(quote Eurotrash) isn't that what America is all about - isn't that what the 'Revolutionary War' was all about? And plastic trash? Jeez Louise - that's what America is all about. If you want some non trashy pale flabby yet a few classes above the Beckhams Brit - I'll come and live there, you'll be beggin for 'em after that. believe me - I love em. Talented, rich family who worked to get what they got. How very American!

103. Personally, I couldn't care less if they move here or not. I don;t follow soccer, and I sure as hell didn't listen to the Spice Girls. However, for all of you girls/women who say Victoria Beckham is nasty, you come off as being envious and pathetic. As a guy, I can tell you she is VERY attractive. My bet is that most of the negative females on this thread are nothing but a bunch of fat, ugly cows who have broken more than a few mirrors in their lives.
