Tori to Mom - You Cheaped Out My Wedding

Candy and Tori SpellingWith reports of Tori Spelling's recent money woes, TMZ has learned that it was her first wedding that got the ball rolling in the rift between the "90210" star and her mother -- eventually leading to Tori's inheritance being torpedoed.

Tori was married to Charlie Shanian in July of 2004 at the Spelling's 56,000 square foot Holmby Hills estate and Candy Spelling planned the whole thing. She opened her wallet big time, hiring famed wedding planner Mindy Weiss and the tony Mark's Garden for the floral arrangements. We're told Candy dropped a cool mil on the affair. But a family friend tells TMZ, Tori felt utterly shortchanged. The friend tells TMZ that Tori thought the wedding "wasn't big enough."

Candy, on the other hand, felt slighted that Tori did not include enough of Candy's friends on the guest list. The two fought the entire time leading up to the wedding, at times not speaking to each other.

Now, after the death of Tori's TV legend father Aaron, Us Weekly is reporting that Tori will receive an inheritance that is just .16% of the Spelling fortune.

Us WeeklyIn an issue on newsstands today, Us says that Tori will receive a cash inheritance payment of $200,000 and $600,000 in private investments Aaron had set up for her. A family source tells Us this is not what Aaron had intended, but rather "a move that her mother, Candy, sole managing executor of the estate, had designed as revenge against her long-estranged daughter."

But don't think Candy has had the last laugh. There are reports that Spelling had Alzheimer's when he died. So don't rule out a challenge by Tori, who might argue that her dad was not mentally competent to cut her out.

TMZ is awaiting a response from a representative for Candy Spelling.

62. This is inconceivable to me. As a mother to two grown children, my son and my daughter are EVERYTHING to me and always will be! No matter what they do! Every dime I have is THEIRS ....when one has children, they should love unconditionally, forgive, and be totally devoted to them...or why even have children? Candy has been lucky financially, let her love her two children and give them their due share that their Dad would have given them . They really are all she has. Catty friends/boyfriends come and go, Candy!! Tori: fight for what your Dad would have wanted.:)

65. Just goes to show you that money can't buy happiness. Sure, we'd all love to have that kind of money, but would you want to be a part of such a disfunctional family for it? I'd rather have no money and family that loves each other than that freakshow family.

66. Candy Spelling, shame on you. Aaron loved his daughter, And now you cut Tori's throat so you can grab all the $$$ for yourself. You WILL find that this town doesnt like you too well and laughs at you behind your back. The jike will be on you bitch.

67. My condolances to the family. Just remember you are fortunate to have so much & plenty to make everyone happy. I understand principles & the points, but Candy what will it get you now. Everyone think about Aaron, his life's works & what mattered to him. Candy you were his wife. Toni & Randy were his children. All of you should be protected & safe during his difficult time of grieving & settling affairs. There should not be any fights over money - b/c there's more than enough to go around - probably a big reason for Aaron's successes. Don't waste time - be good to yourselves & remember the man who loved you & provided for you. I guess it's easier for me to look at you & tell you my thoughts - but you are the ones who have the opportunity to morn & do right by your love one. My good wishes to your family to find the way to endure.

68. Candy is a witch and thats for sure, But I think that Candy is a smart witch.
How much do you want to bet that Candy is seeing if she can shake off Tori"s leach of a husband, Dean? What do you think? If Candy releases the money to Tori now, that blood sucking bastard will, no doubt, manage to get his whans on a substantial portion of it due to the fact that Tori seems besotted with Dean.
I feel so sorry for Tori. i know that she and her dad loved each other very much.
Dean is a sleeze.

69. Maybe now Tori can stop being so self-absorbed and what is with those phony "candid" shots at the store and the pawn shop. STAGED, STAGED, STAGED

70. When is Tori going to STOP with these Magazine articles. She sure didn't grieve long.

71. In Melrose Place, Tori's mom on the show was overbearing and manipulative, Tori was a daddy's girl on the show.... Candy approved of that show (and the woman looked a little like Candy).... Notorious is just a kicked up version for 2006....

Tori blames the fued with mommy on the "friend of the family" Mark Nathanson saying that they were having an affair while daddy while sick.... TO THEN...go and have an affair on her new husband with a married man, with two children, including a new baby which I hear (and hope is true) he is no longer part of that babie's life.....

Kettle ... meet Tori

I am pretty sure that Tori has a few gifts and trinkets from daddy along the way. She's not suffering.

The fun part is, Randy gets the same because of tax purposes...but, he gets alot of "gifts" from mommy and doesn't have to pay for things that Tori probably pays for.

72. It is a little harsh to not give Tori that much. Her and her Dad supposedly were always very close. Her mother needs to be the adult in this situation. She is making herself look very spiteful this is her only daughter for goodness sake! And yes they should not be fighting over money just yet.

73. Forgot to add. Not only does money not buy happiness...it doesn't buy good looks either apparently.

74. I had a point but #38 came along and made me want to kill myself.

oh, yeah. this is so much delicious drama that it's too bad aaron can't come back from the dead to make it into one of his shows. then, everyone would profit.

75. It seems that Aaron Spelling, (the father) should have forseen that this day would come. He didn't always have alzhheimer's disease and should have made it clear in his will exactly what his intentions where for his children. I cant' believe this super rich businessman did'nt know it would get this ugly over money after his death. I know she's spoiled, but Tori should get her inheritance. I think Candy is the gold digger and was biding her time for this day to come. She even stopped hiding her boyfriend when the husband got too sick to know anything, which shows what she's been after all along. You'd think she'd wait until he'd pass, at least out of respect to the family.
