Travolta, Allen -- The Real "Skinny"

John Travolta strips down to his bathing suit during the filming of his latest flick -- and the results aren't pretty.

The star -- whose bod is far from his ripped self in "Staying Alive" more than 20 years ago -- was in New Mexico filming the aptly named "Wild Hogs," about a group of suburban biker wannabes.

In one scene, Travolta and co-stars William H. Macy, Tim Allen, and Martin Lawrence go skinny-dipping in a local watering hole, only to be confronted by a naked gay man who tries to entice them into a game of marco polo.

Travolta isn't the only member of the cast who looks like he could use a Bally's membership -- check out Allen and Lawrence.


Of the four stars, Macy's physique is the stand out -- a good thing given the star's near-nude appearance during the shoot.

17. I agree with most of the previous comments. There is more to life than making sure you fit the "perfect" mold. These men have every right to look how ever they choose. Just like the rest of us. To me they look like regular guys.

20. Tim Allen and the others dont look bad, but EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW on John Travolta he really let himself go. It wouldnt hurt him to just do some situps here and there. :

21. Travolta is one of the best actors around today. I didnt care for him when he was young but he is great now. I dont miss any of his movies. Macy is a damn good actor too and the other two are funny. Who cares about looks anyway, they fade, just ask me lol I would never get bored with any of these four men and thats what counts.

24. John Travolta has a heart of gold and Kelly Preston is one lucky woman.
Tim Allen seems like a gentle soul and I'm sure he is a good person.
Martin Lawrence has a great sense of humor.
William H. Macy--I loved him in that movie about the salesman.
At the end of the day, who really cares about their body. It's their heart and soul that matters. For guys their age, they look pretty good to me.

25. These four great guys have earned the right to show themselves as they are and not have to worry about every bite they put in their mouths! I for one am glad of the portrayal of real men in real bodies, it makes them all the more appealing to me, both as men and actors. I think real strength of character comes from the ability to show people who we really are, not mold ourselves into what others want us to be.

26. Good grief, who cares? The poor guys are in their 40's and 50's for heaven's sake and I am sure if they were supposed to be buff for the movie, they would have trainers making them so. Though I disagree highly with his religious views, if you want to call them that, John Travolta is one of the nicest, most generous men in the business as is William H Macy. The two funny guys provide us humor when we need it so the tabloids should lay off and report how disgusting that anorexic snot Paris Hilton is and leave decent people alone. My husband isn't buff but I think he is adorably sexy and he is 56. Maybe if this country wasn't so focused on thin being in, we wouldn't have scores of children with anorexia or bulima!

27. I don't care how these men look now. They are much older than they were in those other photos. It's very rare that a man at that age can still look as good as they did 10 or more years ago. Besides, John Travolta had me won in Urban Cowboy....yeeeehaw. That man in Wranglers...wooooooooooooo!!!!!!
