31. This is for Post # 26. Who cares ? When your weight becomes a health issure that's when you should start caring. You don't have to be overweight and out of shape to play a want to be biker. The fact that he is an actor and part of his job is to keep himself in shape should FACTOR in this too. Sure it's HARDER as we age to keep the weight off , but with the proper diet and little exercise, anyone can do it. My grandmother is 102 years old.. She walks every morning and still plays the piano beautifully. She wouldn't have the quality of life she has now, IF SHE ATE LIKE A PIG. Stop making excuses . The guy needs to lose weight.

34. Come on people!! These men are fathers and could be grandfathers. Give them a break. Go goggle at the younger crowd but give these guys the respect they have earned. You are seeing paparrazzi photos from a movie set. They are acting and someone shot them unexpectedly. Just more crap from univited guests. I think they look just like they should for guys their age.

35. You know they don't look too bad. Travolta could stand to lose some weight but the rest of them look pretty good for men in their 40's. My problem is that this just soooo shows the double standard in Hollywood and in our culture in general. If these were 4 actresses in their 40's and they put on some extra weight I'm sure hardly any of the comments on here about them would be so sympathetic. Most people would call them fat bitches and laugh. But with 4 men alot of people making comments are being very nice. Think about this next time TMZ has a post about a slightly overweight actress...then you'll see the double standard shine!

37. Forget about how they look in a bathing suit. In my opinion John Travolta looks more and more like the devil or should I say L.Ron Hubbard! Maybe he is L. Ron Hubbard reincarnated. Look at the point on top of his head. Really John, it's time to look at yourself and see the evil spewing from you all because of Scientology! Hello?! Is there anyone in there? Did you even read the article or did you just look at the pictures?
They are filming a movie about middle-aged biker wanna-be's. Have you ever seen middle-aged bikers in real life? Or anyone else in America for that matter? FAT!!! We are all FAT!!!
Also, you are wrong, an actor's job is not to be in shape. An actor's job is to act!!! To play a part. To pretend to be someone else. Sometimes they play people who aren't BEAUTIFUL.
Do you understand now?
If you offered any of those men one of two roles:
1.Playing a male model who gets the beautifull girl in the end.
or 2.Playing an not-so-beautiful, intelligent person with depth in a drama that could garner them an Oscar nomination.
Which one do you think they would choose?

44. Why is it that men can get big and fat and still play in movies while woman have to maintain a small figure to be able to get a part in a movie. I don't want to look at some heavy old man i don't care what age a man is he should still keep a nice figure and a tone body. that's just gross to look at.
