With only a month to go until the release of her new CD "A Public Affair," Jessica Simpson has already switched the cover picture of the album.

Last week the cover art for the CD surfaced showing a sultry Jessica with her hair down, sporting a strapless dress. But it looks as if the Simpson camp changed its mind and decided to go with more of a girl-next-door look. Jessica's rep Rob Shuter tells TMZ the final decision on a cover had not been made by the time one had to be provided to Jess' record label, so the first cover option (of three choices they had) was given. That cover was ultimately not chosen and Jessica went with the cover shown here.

The new album cover has a casual looking Jess with nothing but a T-shirt on, her hair pulled back and wearing a ring on her right index finger.

Coincidentally, Simpson's latest cover pic looks particularly similar to her Sony Music label mate Jennifer Lopez's cover for her 2002 album "This Is Me ... Then" -- even down to the handwriting. And that isn't the album's only comparison to another pop diva. Her first single has already been compared to Madonna's '80s hit "Holiday."

48. Ha, hah, hah, this site is preety hilarious. So what if people want to post bad things about her she doesnt have any talent. I know people who like pop, r&b, country, rock and heavy metal. I have never met anyone that likes her music. She is a complete joke. And please just look at the cover of the Dukes of Hazzard DVD that woman clearly has something strange looking about her face. And she's not even 30 yet. Why defend this woman Idolatry is just as much a sin as anything. Your not doing anything good or moral for this world when you say "Jessica is preety and she has so much talent I like her". Your not being some good wonderful person.

51. Good One Wicked1 !!! You are dead on!!!!! I agree, most of these comments are completely humorous and interesting. I find that most of the "negative" comments are made by women/girls. Saying that, it is showing so much jealousy and insecurities on their part. Is Jessica perfect?? No, but who the hell is. I just find it so humorous that people can't say anything nice AT ALL. 56. Actually, the font used on Jessica's album is EXACTLY the one used on Madonna's Confessions album, and Madonna's I'm Going To Tell You A Secret DVD. The new video "Public Affair" is a total rip-off of Madonna's video entitled "Sorry" And "Public Affair" as a song rips off Madonna's "Holiday"

60. JESSICA HAS A GREAT VOICE, BUT HER MATERIAL SUCKS. AND SHE IS SO NOT ORIGINAL I HAVE THAT JLO ALBUM AND BOTH PICTURES ARE LIKE JLO'S AND THE SONG JUST LIKE MADONNA'S. WITH THAT BEAUTIFUL VOICE SHE HAS SHE SHOULD BE A LITTLE MORE ORIGINAL.
