18. What is so wrong with Barbara without hair and make-up? Women who are secure with themselves do it all the time. She has just as much right to be unglamorous as she does the right to dress to the nines. She's a person just like the rest of us except she is worth millions, but that doesn't mean she has to look like a million dollars all the time.

20. Barbra is on the worksite of her new home, not on some public street in Hollywood. She's working (or overseeing) .... and did not dress up for the press, as this was not a photo op. Oy, some people, despite the paparrazzi culture, still do not understand the difference between REAL LIFE and PUBLICITY LIFE.

As for Barbra, she's 64 years old. She rose to the top of the record, film and television industry based on her TALENT. She never recorded an album named "Dirty", never had a nervous breakdown after her movie "Butterfly", and never married Bobby Brown.

Not including her SUPERMAN album, she has never had the need to resort to "hoochie-mamma" clothes.

And I, for one, am glad she has not gone the Faye Dunaway route and shown up with white chicklet teeth and a "Madame" tight face.

She's always been a nice Jewish girl from Brooklyn.

24. The caption is misleading ~ the house being built is ON her property (she owns three parcels of land right next to each other). Therefore, she NEVER left her "house" to oversee the construction on the new home.

By the way, why do people think that the internet allows them to be rude and inconsiderate? Where are people's manners?

And for the record, she NEVER retired but from large scale concerts. The new one promises to be different. And where is it written someone can't change their mind anyway?! I'll be there ~ at three dates ~ as the woman is a legendary talent and artist!!!

25. Leave Barbara alone. She is a great talent and does not look b ad for her age and there is so much attention put on youth and not on character that it is a shame and we are all going to age or die young and people trying to stay so young usually end up looking stupid.

29. I love it, I love it, She can sing but she is still getting older. Just like the rest
of us humans. Money can't buy you a lifetime. But it would make it more fun
for sure. I love seeing these women age and look like normal people makes
me feel better about everything falling apart.
