Paul RuebensPaul Ruebens has been riding high since the re-airing of his acclaimed children's show "Pee Wee's Playhouse" on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim.

So high, in fact, that in a recent Time magazine interview Ruebens says he is about to make two more Pee Wee movies and the first one going into production early next year!

Ruebens said "In the TV series Pee Wee almost never left the Playhouse. The movie script is just the opposite. This is a road picture, an epic adventure story where all of the characters leave the Playhouse when one of them disappears."

Even though that sounds suspiciously like the first Pee Wee movie "Pee Wee's Big Adventure," we're not going to complain. We're just happy to have the red bow tie back.

2. The word of the day children is "PEE-WEE"!!! I am excitied for Mr. Ruebens and his big come back (with the Playhouse). He's a funny man and a very-decent actor.
Just check him out as character "Derek Foreal" in the movie "BLOW" (alongside of Johnny Depp in 2001).
He was stellar in that flick!

4. glad too see this man get his go around again,
playhouse was sooo ahead of its time its sick.
have you seen some of the crap our kids have for
choices on there channels now.hopefully the
Pee Wee thing will get 10 times as bigas it was
when it started.cmon u know when TEQUILA
comes on that foot taps and that head starts
bobbing and you wish you had them shoes .

8. YESSSSS! i love peewee. i grew up with that show and watching it on adult swim had been awesome. i havent missed an episode yet. gotta love those dvrs. am i right people?! LOVES IT!

9. Yay, PeeWee!
I loved him as a high schooler in the 80's, never understood the big deal with getting caught masturbating--come on, does anyone in an adult theater NOT? He wasn't hurting anyone, it's not like Michael Jackson (if the rumors are indeed true. Which they sound like they are. Hopefully, he's just weird, in a non-damaging way. But I'm thinking--no)--and now my 4 year old loveslovesLOVES the Playhouse on DVD, even has his picture on the wall in her room. Which I have no problem with. So very good that he's finally back. I can't imagine what we've missed, having him gone for so very long. I wish him the best, and support him wholly.

12. Pee Wee has always been ahead of his time. I loved him on the Dating Game. He was my favorite bachelor. I knew then he was going to go far. (I ididn't get he was comedian then, just a very cute, cool guy.
I love his movies and I am so grateful he is back on adult swim!! I watched PeeWee's playhouse whenever it was on when it was on network TV.
My kid's love hime too! ( They also love weird Al though for different reasons.
