The Return of Hef

Click to return to TMZ.comE! is taking viewers back inside the Playboy Mansion when the second season of "Girls Next Door" premieres this Sunday at 9PM ET.

Hugh Hefner and his girlfriends -- Holly Madison, Bridget Marquardt and Kendra Wilkinson -- let cameras in on every aspect of their lives. The hour-long premiere episode focuses on the planning of Hef's 80th birthday bash.

Besides organizing the party, each of the girls is stressing out over what to get the man who gets everything. Not to give too much away, but Bridget decides to jump out of a cake and strip for Hef. So she prepares for the dance by practicing the seductive dance in front of a few friends and family -- including her dad!!!

31. Yeah - I just saw the video clip of her practising for her family and I don't know, it just doesn't seem right to do that for your family or dad. I'll be honest, I don't watch the show but - um - yuck. Hey, to each his own but, personally, some things aren't meant for family eyes.

33. I've watched the show and while at times entertaining, I still can't help but feel guilty because it feels like I am contributing to a lifestyle I don't support. We are celebrating debauchery in every form if we deem this acceptable. I don't care if they are homeless or trust fund babies, it's all relative. I think people are starting to tire of the stereotypical Hef women in his magazines as the sales of his publications are steady on the decline, hence the 3 gf's and tv show to boost popularity. Maybe it's finally becoming unfashionable. Thank God.

39. Courtney - were you talking to me? I can't say crap about this? At least I viewed the video before I commented and I even said 'to each his own' so I think I can say crap about the topic at hand - which is this particular part of the show.

The show sounds like a blast and what I would give to look like one of them but to STRIP FOR YOUR FATHER - I don't care if you're a playboy bunny, screaming liberal, a closet freak, etc. THAT part doesn't seem right.

40. To 'aneurysm' (poster #34): Thanks for the sole intellectual perspective of these comments. I watch the show sometimes; I think it's entertaining if vapid. I can't say I wouldn't have enjoyed the blatant debauchery of the Hef lifestyle in my early 20's. It's a sign of the times, because we live in a completely superficial world.
