Lindsay Gets CEO Smackdown

UPDATE: Our inside sources tell us that Lindsay showed up on time today. Actually, she showed up a tad early for today's call time. Our source also said that Lohan had in fact missed two full days of shooting.

Rumors are swirling that Lindsay Lohan's hard-partying ways have been taking their toll on the filming of her latest film "Georgia Rule." Her recent visit to the hospital due to dehydration only added flames to the fire. Now Lohan is catching hell from her own producer, who's fed up with her behavior.

The Smoking Gun has obtained a letter from James G. Robinson, the CEO of Morgan Creek Production, to Lohan in which he calls her action "...discourteous, irresponsible and unprofessional." He goes on to say that her actions are those of a spoiled child which has caused her co-workers to feel alienated and "has endangered the quality of this picture." The letter concludes by urging Lohan to be on time and act professionally, otherwise "action" will be taken in order to preserve the integrity of the film.

The letter was hand delivered to Lindsay on the 26th, the same night our cameras caught up with her dodging paparazzi in the passenger seat of a friend's car. Glad to see she took Robinson's words to heart.

34. E! (eonline.com) has an article posted at 12:40 today that states:

"A spokesperson for Morgan Creek Productions confirmed the letter's authenticity..."

I agree with #20 -- I'm sure some grunt penned the letter and he just signed off on it. Nonetheless, I'm sure even tho he's 70 years old, the guy's been in Hollywood long enough to be well versed with "hard partying" starlets.

LL is on her way to being the next tara reid. i've never actually seen a trainwreck happen before. is her mom her manager, parent???? or enabler??? allowing her daughter to drink at twenty and party in clubs, smoke w/her asthma!!! and i'm sure the list goes on.....how can anyone take LL seriously anymore? i have no doubt that very soon her movies will be going straight to video.

38. Does anyone other than myself sorta think this might be a publicity stunt to get people interested in the movie and get people to go see it???? As we all know, any sort of drama during a filming of a movie tends to draw more people in?? It was just a thought that has proved to be true in past movies--(ie) Mr. and Mrs. Smith, The Break-up (etc) Granted, she has proven she is quite the partier so it could go both ways on this. Also, I highly doubt the 70 year old dude wrote this on his own. He probably had one of his people do it for him????

40. FYI, wow! the smoking gun has a copy of the letter on it's website! the wording IS pretty harsh! way to go jim robinson. you've set a great example on how to 'slapdown' an "actress". and to think you bought out the big guns, threatening to make her pay for damages!!! lol

About time somebody told her to get her act together.....I don't understand how these people are under age and in bars all hours...Most of these young people can't act in the first place....They need to be in school getting an education to fall back on...In 10 years we will have no idea who they are.......

44. I wish these young, ungrateful celebrities would get more reality checks like this. It's scary to think what they are allowed to get away with these days. And why are they allowed entrance into nightclubs anyway, much less alcohol? Unless you live under a rock, it's no secret that these kids are underage. Somone needs to serve them up a huge helping of humble pie and a generous dose of discipline.
