Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes have booked their hairstylist for the entire weekend-and now tongues in Hollywood are wagging that Suri's parents are oh-so-achingly close to tying the knot, at least in some fashion, today or tomorrow.

Recently, TomKat had insisted that they're actually planning a fall wedding, but that might just be a ruse to throw eager paparazzi off the scent.

Page Six reports today that the couple is going to do "some sort of ceremony" this weekend in Los Angeles-and that Tom and Katie are making it a private, Scientologists-only event. That's where things get interesting, since Tom and Katie have been claiming recently that their relationship with Katie's parents -- who want a more traditional ceremony for their baby girl -- is going great.

Initially, Katie's dad, Martin Holmes, was reportedly none too pleased that his former Catholic schoolgirl daughter was pregnant out of wedlock, and the Holmeses were also said in previous reports to be upset that Katie had, apparently, become a Scientologist. This latest development, if true, would certainly seem to throw another complication into their relationship.

Our Little Harry's All Growed Up

Daniel Radcliffe, who's played Harry Potter in the series' four movies so far, has some, er, revealing career plans: He's going to get naked onstage in a London production of the Peter Shaffer play "Equus."

Radcliffe will play a stableboy who, in one scene, must ride a horse naked and simulate an orgasm. (Eww.) It's quite a shift from the school dances at Hogwarts, but it's definitely a sign that the 17-year-old Radcliffe doesn't want to play little-boy wizards forever.

Katie Pleads For Producer

Nothing gets between Katie Couric and her producers. On a flight from Washington, D.C. to New York on Wednesday, reports Page Six, the newswoman pleaded with the pilot to allow her producer to board after the plane's doors had closed and the plane was about to taxi down the runway.

Katie was allowed into the cockpit to speak directly to the pilot to beg that her producer Nicola Hewitt, whom she claimed had been held up by security, be allowed to board. Katie's wishes were granted and Hewitt was brought onto the plane. Despite Katie's holdup, the flight pulled into LaGuardia Airport 10 minutes early.

Couric's rep confirmed her intervention, but a Delta flack denied that Katie had been given any special treatment.

Found: A New Cast Member for "Lost"

Warning: If you're a diehard "Lost" viewer, you might want to stop reading now. The famously complicated show just announced that it's hired former "ER" actress Elizabeth Mitchell for the third season, which has set off more wild speculation than you can shake a fallen palm frond at. The rumor is that Mitchell will be a love interest for Jack (Matthew Fox), though it's unclear where the writers are going to say Mitchell came from. Is she a previously unknown survivor of Oceanic Flight 815? Is she a new castaway? Is she an Other? Or will she only appear in flashbacks? She's also joined by a previously announced addition to the show, "Love, Actually"'s Rodrigo Santoro.

Goodie Bag: Furtado Single Sizzles, Rolling Stones Still Getting (Lots Of) Satisfaction

Nelly Furtado's "Promiscuous" has been number one on the Billboard chart for five weeks now, which means she's made a great case for having the unofficial song of the summer. . .Meanwhile, the Rolling Stones have proved that they only get better-and richer-with age. They've topped the list of the highest-grossing tours of the first half of 2006, with a cool $147.3 million from 45 shows around the world. No wonder Keith Richards was so quick to recover from his fall from a tree a few months ago.

17. Now they're talking about getting married AGAIN but still not ONE SINGLE MENTION of the baby. Where is this 'Suri' anyways?
I totally agree with comment #7 by "Tom is cukoo". Oh, wait....I forgot.....this is another publicity stunt.
Face it people, Tom belongs in the psychoward at Bellevue and Katie's not too far behind as long as she stays with him. I will say this: if there is a baby, I pray to GOD she's okay. If this was just a publicity stunt, I hope both of their careers end up in the toilet. Maybe that's why it's taking so long.........they're trying to figure out how to get out of this one?.....

18. He likes intelligent women with verve but is himself controlling. The combination generally does not work. Divorce is a given, just a matter of how long. I say a few years. She'll defy him a couple times and he'll move on to another impressionable, ambitious costar. He is afraid to be real. It's uncomfortable to watch him put on that Hollywood act.

19. Some of your comments are so stupid and malicious, that one must assume that you are pathetically bereft of a life of your own. Do you sit at your computer all day
attacking everyone and everything that doesn't fit your dull, petty little concept of what the world and everyone in it should be? Thank goodness, the universe is large enough for differences of opinion, life styles, religious views, etc.--even for minds as miniscule as yours. Get a life, and let others live theirs in their own way.

20. Has anyone noticed that fake laugh Tom has? It is so phony and fictituous! I guess there have been sightings if Suri by Patricia Heaton and Will & Jada. But ...."Who My Baby Daddy"???

21. Allegedly straight Tom Cruise getting married? Faaaaaabulous!
Just do it already. For the love of dairy, can't you even take a poop without calling the press? Your life is a heavily choreographed dance. Instead of jumping on couches, misusing the word "glib" and acting like an ass any chance there's a camera around, just be a Dad and do right by that woman you allegedly impregnated.
I'm just saying...

23. If Tom is really as devoted to God as he says he is he would have gone about this in a different manner so who cares if they get married they are old news if they are getting married more power to them if they aren't great to ,they already have the baby so they say ,why do they need to get hitched now ....WHO REALLY CARES NOW ?

24. The really sad thing is that ordinarily many of us would defend this man as a human, capable of mistakes, and deserving of a happy ending. Unfortunately, that isn't the case with Tom Cruise. He has spent too much time telling everybody else how wrong they are for taking medicine or using methods he doesn't approve of for problems which are none of his business. He claims he has done all of this research to back up his unsolicited judgments, and yet he has never fully explained what were the results of this research! I know nothing about Katie Holmes, but I know I believe she deserves better.

25. I'm probably in the minority but that's okay.
I applaud Tom and Kate for taking all this criticism and still have a smile on their face or having a fake laugh. I sure couldn't do it. I can't wait till the next actor messes up and people will just leave Tom alone. I'm sure he regrets he ever went on Oprah that day. I've see that show and people sure were laughing and clapppng for him that day. Where are all those people now. But you know, Tom will be okay. With our approval or without our approval he still has a lovely family, a woman that loves him and fans that still respect him. I'm proud to say that I am a fan of Tom Cruise.

26. I echo the comments of many others here, who have said they are sick of Tom.

Also, it is a good point one person made, that Tom does virtually everything for publicity. After his last movie tanked, he had his run in with Spielberg, and his manic, sofa-jumping episode on Oprah (not to mention all that postpartum depression crap he was dishing out), his star is losing it's luster, and he could really use something to put him back on top. Everything Tom does is orchestrated by Tom and his Scientology-goons, to bring him the publicity he needs/craves, at times when he isn't looking his best, PR-wise.

I could care less if I ever see a picture of Suri, the supposed baby of Katie and Tom. If that baby even exists, and is truly a biological child of Tom (poor thing), she is going to be so messed up. Even if she is not his biological child (which I am not alone in suspecting is more truth than fiction), she is headed for a very controlling, lonely, manipulating, disturbed life, via Scientology.

As for Katie, she got her wish-come-true. As a little girl, she wanted to marry Tom Cruise.

I think the old saying, fits well here:

"Be careful what you wish for."

Now, if only Tom would have his mother ship beam his obnoxious a$$ UP! THAT would make me want to jump on a few sofas!

27. Katie used to date Chris Klein - also a domineering (and borderline-misogynistic) guy - so why is anyone suprised she's happy with Tom? We'd like to think she's a strong, indepdendent young woman because she's attractive and sweet - but some women _prefer_ men who take all the responsibility and decisions out of their hands. He doesn't seem to be abusive toward her physically or emotionally, so to each her own.

Moreover, why is it such a big deal that a woman would choose security, love, and children over a movie career... Feminism gave women the choice to work - it didn't force us to!

Anywy, Tom and Nicole's two children were kept out of sight for YEARS - until pregnant Katie started spending time with them, the paparazzi just ignored them. Why would we think Tom would do something different with Suri?

28. Where is Dawson when you need him? Tommy boy has gone off the deep end, the more i read about scientology the more I can't believe ANYONE could fall for it. Now if they told me to worship a zombie who came back from the dead three days later and tells me to eat his body and drink his blood, that is the religion for me!

29. Who cares about these idiots anymore? She's stupid and naive, he's old and desperate.
