Vanessa's Back Door Man

Apparently Nick Lachey was longing for a little home cookin' last night, as he ditched his fancy Midtown Manhattan hotel room and moved up to galpal Vanessa Minillo's dee-luxe apartment on the East Side.

Nick had a meaty repast at Virgil's BBQ on his own, then went back to the hotel so he could grab his bag on his way to his lady love's lair. Vanessa, on the other hand, hadn't changed from her hosting gig on "TRL" as she descended the hotel's stairs in a fetching pink minidress. Nick, for his part, eschewed his usual T-shirt-and-jeans for a proto-athletic getup celebrating the University of Cincinnati Bearcats.

And when he arrived at Minnillo's apartment complex, he went in the back door, possibly to avoid the building's gauntlet of doormen, who reportedly aren't as enamored of the more taciturn Nick as they were of Minnillo's last squeeze, New York Yankee Derek Jeter.

65. It's obvious Nick has moved on. Thank God! Perhaps now he can find a female with a brain and a father that has better things to do than meddle in his daughter's marriage. The Simpsons (all of them) just suck the air out of anyone's life.

No I don't think so yes he did love her very much but after not being her choice not once but many times before told him there is no love in her heart for him and he could not live that way best for her to just leave him alone he gave all he could and it was still not good enought.And if she continues on her mission of destrutive ways ,That she will it a surprise of her life soon for as good as he seems he does have a temper,and said the game is over with and there shell be no more .The looks at me with the biggest smile and states life is were you lay,wonder what he meant?

Vanessa is a pretty girl, but c'mon, its pretty obvious given the quick hookup so soon after his divorce, combined with his OWN multiple admissions about not knowing if he'd ever be over Jessica that this is definitely a rebound relationship. But, you got to give the guy credit for being honest. I wish him and Jessica would get back together.. they are so meant to be. But they would have to get away from having every second watched by all of us.

75. I like the fact Nick has chosen to be with an African American girl. Vanessa is very beautiful and I'm glad she chose Nick over Derek. I think Nick and Vanessa will have beautiful children and I hope one is black like Vanessa and one white like Nick.
