61. This is a pathetic article and I would like to point out that the all-too-common practice in the media of doing everything possible to put down Christians is becoming obvious to a lot of people. Also, throwing Anti-Semite comments toward anyone or anything that threatens Jewish interests cheapens the use of the phrase with each passing day.

62. Let us all remember the old adage...."Never judge a man until you walk a mile in his shoes."

Are you all so perfect? You should all be ashamed of yourselves to deem yourselves so rightous.

63. Leave the guy alone! I defy any one of you to say that you haven't done anything stupid in your life, drunk or sober. If he weren't Mel Gibson, no one would care! As far as being anti-semite, The Passion was correct, the jews did crucify Jesus, that's a fact of history and no matter who tell's it, it doesn't change it. and if you want to boycott an anti-semite, try Henry Ford. He's a published, verified anti-semite, for example: "The only statement I care to make about the Protocols is that they fit in with what is going on. They are sixteen years old, and they have fitted the world situation up to this time. They fit it now." --Henry Ford, 2-17-21, whose newspaper, the Dearborn Independent, cited the Protocols as evidence of an alleged Jewish threat until at least 1927 for those interested in the truth, google " the Protocols of the elders of zion" and see what you get about henry ford... No one is boycotting Ford because of Henry's views... Hitler based his political views on the Protocols and Henry Ford supported that view... wow, reality, what a concept...

66. Mel looks GOOD! LOL! That's the hottest mugshot I've seen ever, especially for a 50 year old man.

TMZ, please give it up already. The man has apologized. Move on. And go protest the hateful muslim portrayals that Hollywood and the mainstream news media constantly airs.

Don't even tell me, Harvey Levin, that you've never uttered a single politically incorrect statement, especially concerning the Mid East conflict. Levin, YOU'RE the hypocrite.

67. Lol ..Sammy #39 Your comment is so funny. You're right!! WE ALL SUCK. WHITE, BLACK, YELLOW , RED AND BIRACIAL. WE ALL GOT DIRT, but seriously, we should all love each other and embrace the diff. cultures that GOD has given us.. THE WORLD IS A RAINBOW!!!!

69. Then, lest we forget, wasn't it his own "kind" who condemned him? Jesus was a jew, chastised, betrayed, isolated, punished, condemned and murderered by the will, of his "own kind". These are (according to Scripture) the "facts". There is always room for speculation, conversation and especially, controversy. Yet, the Christians of the world do not ostracize the Jews of the world. For if we did we would be no better than those who condemned him. My God, they don't even "acknowledge" the possibility that Jesus "was", or could have been, their true "Messiah". So, based on that concept alone, I can see how these transgressions committed by the Jewish peoples, could be a topic for an extremely "heated" debate. BUT, the key word here is "Discussion", we "all" have that right. Whether we agree or dissent , we possess the right to bespeak our own personal philosophies and ideas, whether or not they conform to those established through a "general consensus", or from any popular theological tenet of dogmatic hypotheses. He (Mr. Gibson) did nothing (by his remarks)any more out of the ordinary than anyone of us has ever thought or spoken aloud, about "any" topic we felt so strongly about. I'm "sure" we have "all" spouted some sort of turpitude against one thing or another, in our lifetimes. Should we also be castigated? "Let "he" among you who is without sin, cast the first stone"!

70. In response to this mugshot, I find it interesting how many people said "He looks good" or "He doesn't look so bad (for a guy his age)." Ted Bundy looked good in his mugshot, too. How "good" a person's mugshot looks should be taken in the context of that situation... like, for starters, IT'S A MUGSHOT! Knowing what we now know took place immediately before this picture was taken, I agree with the posters who detect the "psycho" look in his eyes -- like Charlie Manson, David Koresh, Ted Bundy. I'm not saying Mel Gibson should be compared to a murderer, but to me the pure hatred is there -- that's what I see in those blue (and red) eyes. I grew up Catholic but certainly don't want to count this guy as part of my belief system.

71. That's probably the best looking mugshot they have. Good job Mel, I support you every step of the way. Ignore these tards they're just brainless.

72. Here is to all of you at the station to support Mel Gibson regards to the bad media he is getting ... he has been stoned especially by all the news (especially from all Jews which we know who you are) you can tell in the Media who is a Jew or a non Jew. Please and I mean please support Mel Gibson, I have so, so should you.

We all make mistakes in life and that does not mean that we need to be stoned like Mel Gibson is being, especially from the Jews!! We all have gotten drunk and did and said stupid things which we at times regret regardless of what ethnicity, color or religion one is. We all need to look in the mirror and I am sure we all have our faults, like all Jews hate Catholics, blacks, Irianians, Lebanon, Pakistan, etc... we all people are prejudices in some way or another, and we all have our opinions and just like Mel Gibson had said his. It is a free country and freedom of speech. Ask your self what Jew loves Catholics, if a Jew would say yes, than it would be a lot worse than what Mel Gibson said when he was drunk. Not only that Jews would never marry out of their religion, so tell me who is the prejudices here?? I am sure if it was a Jew who would have said something about Catholics we would never hear it, just like the true story was never told about Polish/Catholics what happened in the World War II, the Polish Jews were not the only once that went into the concentration camps and Polish Catholics suffered as much, but again that story was never told, especially in the movie that was done Schindle's List (by a Jew), too much of a cover up, that movie needs to be told through a Cathlic Polish side and have Mel Gibson do it. It is time that the Catholics stand up!

I am so tired of Jews being the victims while they victimise....

So please support the man! Also if one were to collect all the data from the Police department on DUI's across the US what people had said or done while under the influence/DUI, Mel Gibson's probably be on of the tamest one. I will always go see his movies and strongly support Mel Gibson.

You should be ashemed of yourself by trying to ruin the mans personal life. If you do not have anything good to say about him than start talking about yourselves I am sure there is plenty durt on you...

So stop bashing the man and again look at your self and I mean a deep look at your own lives... Grow up...

Mel Gibson is a great actor and a producer I will always support him and what he did was very human and not a big deal as you all make it out to be.

Thank you for supporting Mel Gibbson.

74. TMZ -- are you on this thing about Mel being arrested on terrorism charges? I saw the post from Mike Hell or something like that and assumed it was a joke, but the link is "BBC Los Angeles" and appears to be legit. DO TELL!

http://www.bbclosangeles.com/BBCNEWS_Mel_Gibson_Arrested_On_Terrorism.htm

Mel Gibson Arrested on Terrorism Charges.

Actor, director and producer Mel Gibson.
The famous Australian-American actor, director and producer has been arrested at his residence today on terrorism charges. The details are still coming in at this time.
The charges come two days after his run in with Southern California law enforcement. In the previous incident Gibson reportedly failed a breath test. He was charged on suspicion of driving under the influence and freed on bail.

The charges come as little surprise after his anti-Semitic comments such as “Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world." Using the U.S. Patriot Act the FBI had been following Mel Gibson’s illegal terrorist activities for months. According to sources in the Los Angeles Division of the FBI, Mel Gibson had been funneling money through Australia, where Gibson had lived for many years, into Lebanon and Palestine to help Muslim Extremists fight against Israel. Some of the money went to groups such as Hezbollah and Hamas, no word on if any had been funneled to Al-Qaeda.

When asked what set off the investigation J. Stephen Tidwell, Assistant Director In Charge of the FBI in Los Angeles, made no comment. Internal sources from the FBI says it started when one charity organization went under investigation and funds from Mel Gibson were listed along with other comments regarding him in a positive light.

This story is still being updated as more information becomes available. The FBI Los Angeles division office is releasing very little information at this time.

75. Some people posting here need to drink some tea and calm down. Hmmm, let's see... HE WAS DRUNK !!! Drunk people if you are not aware they say a lot of shit. Some curse their wifes, their family members etc... Is that really hate? Again let me remind you that he was DRUNK. Mel also cursed the LAPD. Now does that mean he hates them? or maybe he hates LA? If you take seriously what a DRUNK says then you are pretty stupid. And by the way there is a war going on in which many civilians have been killed. Maybe Mel has been overwatching the news...
But again let me remind you that he was DRUNK! And let me ask everyone out there: You never cursed at someone just out of frustration without any meaning (even when sober)? Come on even best friends can have ugly fights.
Mel does have a serious problem with alcohol... The only harm he does is to himself and his family...
Hope people stop taking this out of proportions.
