77. Whenever somebody big gets involved in the news there always has to be a blow-out of some kind. With gossip the way it is today you never know what to believe and what not to believe unless you were standing on the street corner next to the people involved. So far according to the news, and even that isn't reliable nowadays, there has been no release of any arrest reports so the only people who really know what happened are the people who were there. Was anybody on this message board there?

80. Now I begin to understand that all his twitching and blinking and "acting" nuts wasn't really talent - it was real. Having a wacko father makes be think, perhaps there may have been some abuse while growing up. But do I care... no. Mel has made his sick thoughts into money. He has taken advantage of the public, and those he may have worked for. He has used people to his own end ... and worse, religion. What a phony, and lair he has turned out to be. One would think whith everything turning out so right in his life, with the changes and oppertunities offered, perhaps by Jews, he would have learned and changed from his father's teachings. I know that I had 40 of my friends post e-mails on this sight and none go published since we were all for Mel Gibson.... that would be anti-semetic... so start posting the positive onse out there, at least one or two from my or my 40 so friends ....

85. I think it's evident that TMZ has an inside source that is supplying this information on Mr. Gibson's disgraceful behavior and comments. It's equally obvious that TMZ is thoroughly enjoying and relishing in the moment of Mr. Gibson's disgrace. That behavior, and that of others that would "crucify" him for words spoken in a drunken stupor, are equally disgraceful in my opinion. I wonder why so many people are eager to see him humiliated?

Here's the thing--he was drunk. Drunk people say and do a lot of stupid, rude, crude, and hurtful things. I don't think Mr. Gibson hates Jewish people because he acted like an idiot. I feel badly for him, because he was extremely stupid. He destroyed his credibility through these actions, and I'm sure he knows that. We don't know what was on his mind or what is happening in his life. So, give the man a break. It's equally ridiculous to connect this incident with the movie (that most likely encouraged this) "Mel Gibson hatred" as Jesus was Jewish. The Jewish religious people DID kill him. Mr. Gibson didn't make that up. It's Biblical, and while I'm not Catholic, I am a Christian who understands the Biblical teachings of the Old and New Testaments.

I wish him well and hope that he is able to recover from the alcohol addiction, strengthens his relationship with the Lord and his family, repair his reputation as much as possible, and life his life to the fullest. I believe even the Jewish believe in forgiveness do they not? This is America. And if Woody Allen and Ted Kennedy are not considered social pariahs, then neither should Mel Gibson be! Maybe Hollywood is full of a bunch of Pharisees!

86. Mel gave, as he says, a despicable performance and it is just another of many instances where he believes he is "above the law." However, the Malibu Sheriff's Department should be brought to task. Just because he is a celebrity should not allow him to get away with such behavior. Their concern about inflammatory statements due to the Middle East problem is pure dreck. You know if it were you or me, the "average" American ... well, we'd be in trouble for more than drunk drivig. Stop pampering these overpaid, over-indulgenced celebrities. They're not Gods, just actors. We put too much emphasis on idle, "idol" worship.

Please and I mean please support Mel Gibson, I have so, so should you.

We all make mistakes in life and that does not mean that we need to be stoned like Mel Gibson is being, especially from the Jews!! We all have gotten drunk and did and said stupid things which we at times regret regardless of what ethnicity, color or religion one is. We all need to look in the mirror and I am sure we all have our faults, like all Jews hate Catholics, blacks, Irianians, Lebanon, Pakistan, etc... we all people are prejudices in some way or another, and we all have our opinions and just like Mel Gibson had said his. It is a free country and freedom of speech. Ask your self what Jew loves Catholics, if a Jew would say yes, than it would be a lot worse than what Mel Gibson said when he was drunk. Not only that Jews would never marry out of their religion, so tell me who is the prejudices here?? I am sure if it was a Jew who would have said something about Catholics we would never hear it, just like the true story was never told about Polish/Catholics what happened in the World War II, the Polish Jews were not the only once that went into the concentration camps and Polish Catholics suffered as much, but again that story was never told, especially in the movie that was done Schindle's List (by a Jew), too much of a cover up, that movie needs to be told through a Cathlic Polish side and have Mel Gibson do it. It is time that the Catholics stand up!

I am so tired of Jews being the victims while they victimise....

So please support the man! Also if one were to collect all the data from the Police department on DUI's across the US what people had said or done while under the influence/DUI, Mel Gibson's probably be on of the tamest one. I will always go see his movies and strongly support Mel Gibson.

You should be ashemed of yourself by trying to ruin the mans personal life. If you do not have anything good to say about him than start talking about yourselves I am sure there is plenty durt on you...

So stop bashing the man and again look at your self and I mean a deep look at your own lives...

Mel Gibson is a great actor and a producer I will always support him and what he did was very human and not a big deal as you all make it out to be.

The shame of the entire episode is that anyone on this blog or any website that is addressing Gibson's blatant ignorance and prejudiced rantings, is that the public will forgive him because he is one of Hollywood's beautiful people. Hate is ugly and Gibson has shown that he personifies hate. As a Jew, I hope that the powers that be in the entertainment industry, many of whom are also Jewish, don't cast aside their disgust at his archaic, barbaric beliefs and seize this moment of "even bad publicity is good" to reap the rewards of behavior that cannot be sanctioned by any decent human being. He should be held accountable for all of his behaviors and not play the "re-hab"card.
