16. I think Dee's comments are absurd. Yes, saying "f---ing jews & jews are responsible for all the wars" is absolute Anti-Semitisim & a racist statement. Fact. Period. If he said "f---ing catholics & catholics are responsible for all the wars" that too would be a biggoted irrational attack on a group of people. It's just wrong and goes to show who he truly is. People need to quit trying to defend him and justifying or over simplifing his statements. They are very clear, offensive and thoughts of a raging lunatic. The alcohol just took away his filter and let the world see him for who he really is. If he didn't make these comments then he needs to say so. This isn't the kind of thing you say "no comment" too or make a blanket apology and blame your actions on alcohol.

18. Although, I respect and admire Mel Gibbson as an actor and family man, I can not seem to forgive him for him driving drunk. There is no exuse in that. He could have killed or injured an innocent person. If he still has demons when it comes to his acholism, then he should seek help and not be behind the wheel. As for his remarks those where just uncalled for. I am not of the Jewish faith, I am of the Orthodox Christian faith and I practice what I have been taught. But thats just me.
And that is I respect others and their backgrounds, no matter what is going on in the world. After all we all part of the human race.

As I said before, I respect Mr. Gibbson and I hope he gets the help he needs to beat his drinking. Until then, Mr Gibbson, please stay off the streets!

If Mel said that all the wars in the world were caused by the zulus or that pink circumsized elephants were hovering over the Malibu beach or that vegans never had sex you could blame it on booze. Instead all of his remarks were not based on halucinations but on rationale thought. Was this merely a coincidence?

20. It really amazes me how much media attention Mel Gibson is getting. You have children being killed in Lebanon every day and the big news is Mel Gibsons drunk driving and alleged anti-semitic remarks. Maybe, the Israeli pilots are drunk, when there dropping there bombs on children and UN observers. I think Mel probably had one two many while watching CNN and was pissed off, at what the Jews are getting away with over there. The truth is, Israel has made prisoner swaps in the past with Hezbollah. They made deals with these guys they call terrorists. Everyone with a brain knows, once you make a deal or swap like that, it only encourages more of the same. Israel is only going to make more enemies in the Arab world and make Hezbollah stronger by there actions. We had the chance to hit Hezbollah in 1983, after the marine barracks attack, but did nothing. I hope we stay out this mess, we have enough problems in Iraq.

21. Whatever, if he said it it is free speech . Not only that , people should look at the reason why what he said was so profound. It is because with the exaustive measures, backed by a lot of capital, that those of 'jewish' (quoted for reason) faith seek to defame and or destroy anyone that has any alternative viewpoints on how they do business.

Our own government has been infiltrated by jewish mafia since before JFK. Gibson has no clue how indeed doomed he is i n Hollywood. Politics rule here! only certain kinds though........

30. Sadly, what this drunk driving incident shows about Mel Gibson is his true thoughts and feelings about "Jews". The alcohol loosened his tongue and he showed his true self. The alcohol did not make him say things he did not believe. I wonder if he is going over the edge. I, for one, will not see another Mel Gibson movie.
