Hilton Says Fame Caused Riff With Richie

Paris HiltonParis Hilton says her falling out with former best friend and "Simple Life" co-star Nicole Richie was due to the Hollywood limelight.

The hotel heiress tells New York gay nightlife magazine HX that she and Nicole "grew apart because of fame."

Paris documents their falling out on her upcoming album with a track entitled "Jealousy." Hilton adds, "Jealousy is the evilest emotion, and it doesn't do any good for anyone ... When people let jealousy take over them, it destroys friendships."

While the budding singer's self-titled CD features a cover of Rod Stewart's "Do Ya Think I'm Sexy," Paris revealed that she nixed doing the Divinyls 90s hit "I Touch Myself" because she didn't "want to be on stage singing that in front of my mom!"

It's a shame her modesty doesn't extend to homemade sex videos.

With her album due out August 22, the paparazzi princess proclaims she now has her eyes set on another title, "President!"

Paris would definitely give new meaning to the term Head of State.

32. America has consisently shown that it idolizes the stupid! So these people that love Paris Hilton because of her "talent" are pretty typical.

The question is, what talent does she actually posess? She can't act,sing,dance,write,paint,or sculpt that I know of.

The only thing she could be president of is " The People Who Are Famous Because They Have Money And Party Club." Lindsey Lohan could be vice-president and all you guys that think they are so great cuold be honorary members.

33. I like Paris and all, but she was crying to TMZ that the comments posted were hurtful. Then in the HX article she states that she and gay people are alike because they don't care what people think of her. Obviously she was just wanting someone to sympathize with her! Not me she likes to be in the limelight, and she deserves everything that comes with it.

37. How can you not admire Paris Hilton? She is beautiful, talented (in several aspects), and the girl has got a lot of class. If anyone had the persona of Paris, they also would be stalked by paparazzi and hounded by negative press. You have got to give her a lot of credit and admiration. At least she is out doing her own thing (music, books, clothing line, perfume, etc..) instead of sitting around and living off of her parents. Why should America hate her? Can anyone say JEALOUSY??? Way to go Paris! Louisiana Loves You!!!

44. Paris Hilton as President, LOL, of what, LOL............ That is the funniest thing I ever heard in my life, LOL. Unless its a union for call girls I don't think we'll have to worry about that any time in the near future. Maybe if she wants to make some more money selling herself, she should really sell herself.
